sippy cups

my daughter just turned one...the doctor says shes old enough to drink from a sippy cup only, and to take away the bottles. im not opposed to it at all, because i'd rather take them away sooner than later. BUT whenever i give her one, she makes a MESS...i mean the whole thing is on her clothes. we've tried a few styles, and she prefers a cup with a straw, but what brands are best? i feel like they're leaking a lot, and that contributes to most of the mess. how did/are you teaching your little ones to drink from sippy cups?

We use zoli straw cups and havent had any leaking! We love them! We just kept giving her the cup in her high chair and by the second or third day she figured it out on her own.

We tired so many cups before we found Tommee Tippe Explora brand. They are the best we have used. He took to them right away and they dont leak at all!
