Boy or Girl?

Hey everyone. Just looking for opinions on this ultrasound. I took it myself, at work, with a small probe and portable machine (I am a nurse). I was 16w5d at the time. With my first pregnancy, I was told girl at 16 weeks, then boy at 20. Lo and behold, he came out all boy! So needless to say, I am a little skeptical about ultrasounds now! I am 99% sure this one is boy...but a friend of mine thought what I am thinking is the "goods" may be a hand or cord. Opinions are welcome!Thanks and good luck to everyone on their pregnancies!

it is my understanding that the cord usually shows up as more black on the screen than white like that, so I would say boy.

Lol - all boy....I am a vet and have ultrasounded myself with all three pregnancies as well!  So far I have been a 100% right with the first two (boy and a girl that we lost).....now I think I have another boy (will find out in 3 more weeks "for sure").  Nice job getting the right picture!!

My first reaction was boy, but if you look, the "penis" isn't connected to the rest of his body. When I look closer, I actually think I see the 3 lines.

Thats what i couldnt figure out...if the black area is the baby's tummy/bladder or if thats not part of the baby at all.

I would guess boy. I don't see the tell-tale three lines (for girl) and it appears to be sticking out. But it's hard to tell in this picture.

From this picture, I would guess boy.  Your friend could be right and it could also be cord...but I'm still sticking with boy.
