Grayson/Greyson?

What are your honest thoughts on this boys name?? TIA!

I don't find it overused. If you want an overused name, use Mike, Ryan, Timothy, etc...

I think it's very strong & masculine!

That's my thought also. I don't know anyone w/ the name Grayson. I work at a very busy pharmacy connected to a pediatric office too. It's the only boy's name my DH and I have agreed on. I appreciate all the comments tho. I like feedback on names. Thanks

I wouldn't say it's overused, but it's definitely trendy right now. I know 2 Graysons IRL under the age of 3. In comparison I know 0 Timothys under age 20, KWIM?

I like it.  I don't think it's overused. I work in 2 different preschools and haven't come across that name.  I personally prefer GREYSON with an E.

I personally love it and it's a top boy name on my list. We are having a girl but had we had a boy we would have likely used this name.

I love it!! Well, of course I do, since we chose Grayson for our new baby boy. I had never heard of anyone named Grayson before and have gotten a ton of compliments on it. Can't wait to meet him!!

I really like the name and nn Grey. I wish we could use it but I have a niece named GraceAnne so that's too close for me.

I like Greyson, and even if it's trendy, if you like it use it!  You can always call him Grey for short.

I don't know anyone named Grayson. I also like the spelling better with the A. I also like just Gray or Grey. I think it's different and masculine/strong.

To me Greyson looks like a first name and Grayson is a last name.  So, yeah, I prefer the "e" with Grey and a nn. 

I checked the SS baby names list and Grayson was 97th in 2011 and Greyson was 200th.  So it's getting trendier, but not quite popular yet.  But it's steadily moving up the list so in 2-3 years it could break into the top 50 and then be a trendy thing.

Considering that our son's name is Greyson, I love the name! lol. As for the popularity, he is the only "Greyson" I know.

I love it, and I don't know any kids IRL with the name. We considered it for a mn, but I think we ruled it out because it doesn't have any meaning for us.

I think the spelling Grayson is more visually appealing...

However, I know three little boys named Grayson who are 2 or younger... and four pregnant women IRL who plan to name their sons Grayson.  The first time I heard it (two years ago) I thought it was the most adorable name.  Now, it sounds a little more "trendy" to me.

Agree, I know two people IRL who named their son this within the last 2 years.

It is one of those "trendy" names that has gotten overdone in my opinion.

That is our top boy name as well.  I think its a strong name and not overused.  We havent decided on spelling yet either but I think we may be leaning towards Greyson. Its a great name and dont let anyone tell you otherwise because its your baby!
