Body ache and sore during pregnancy.

Hi there. My wife is now a few weeks and now she's having body ache especially during night time. Sometimes she can't sleep because of the body ache. Is it normal? This is her first pregnancy.

All sorts of pains and aches are very normal in pregnancy. Keep in mind that metabolism, ligaments, joints, muscles and such are all adjusting to new and different hormone levels.

Try a lavender bath with warm water.  It will help relax some muscles.  If the smell of lavender is to much just try a warm bath

Some places specialize in pregnancy massage.

Tylenol

Warm baths (not hot)

Drink lots and lots of water

Mild exercise to keep things moving

I've noticed that my abdominal muscles are sore if I stretch, as if I completed an ab-specific work out the day before. I just make sure to keep moving and don't sit at my desk at work for too long. Inactivity contributes to the soreness.
