Pregnant??? (TMIs involved)

Okay, so I was so excited to test, I tested one day early (on Sunday) and got a BFN. AF is currently 4 days late (I am typically not that predictable, but I took the medication to force a period and had two period 32 days apart). I have had a bad cold, but last night I got to feeling SUPER pukey and even stood over the toilet but had nothing but that pre-barf spit as. usual -- not a puker) and hadn't had any nausea due to my cold, the day before I had an uncomfortable stomach but it wasn't poo related, yesterday I started crying because my cold was too bad to go to the store (?! so not a cryer. I think I cried like twice in 2012.). So today, I tested again first morning pee like you're supposed to, and I got the start of a line only. Big clear little pink dash clear on one side. Does that mean pregnant just not very pregnant just yet? I have never had any line at all. Thoughts???? I am dying to find out! TYIA, ladies!

A line is a line, but that sounds like a weird test. Retest and see what happens.

My first BFP with my last pregnancy was a half-line, but the next day it was a regular pink line. I'd say test again tomorrow, but it sounds like your KU.

Should I take one today or next first morning pee?

It's a dollar store test, but I keep hearing they work great and name brand tests get expensive. This one is a pee in a cup and use a dropper. The area that tells you yea or nay goes light pink and the dark pink line at the stop shows up and if you're pregnant, a dark pink line shows up at the bottom to give you the double line. Normally, I get nothing of a second line what so ever. This morning, I got one of these (-) at the far end like the very tiny start of a line. But it's there nonetheless.

I am a little confused by the description of the test. Was it a clear line or pink? Was it big or little? Are you trying to say only half of the second line showed up or only one line was showing?

Well, I don't typically share my non-puking bile/ spit that I get rather than actual vomit that I always get if I ever (rarely) feel pukey. Also, the stomach pains not being that I was constipated. I guess that stuff is fairly normal here, but just giving someone who is more sensitive to that a heads up :-)

Always recommended to use FMU and I used $1 store tests and cheapy Wondfos (sp?) to confirm my last pregnancy.  There is nothing wrong with them.  Test again tomorrow morning.  FYI- The symptoms you are describing could be anything.  Don't read too much into them.

Sorry about that. The second line was dark pink like the top line, but it was a tiny line off to one side that looked like a little dash. It was the same dark pink color as the top one, just itty bitty and I had never had that before. Nothing whatsoever before.

I know they could be anything, and I try to assume I'm not pregnant to not read into normal things. Just explaining the background.

Not assuming, just excited and confused by the second tiny line. DH and I are keeping our TTC almost completely to ourselves so I just wanted some thoughts. I just tested this morning because my period still hadn't come.

OP, either test again tonight or tomorrow with FMU, but a line is a line... Pregnancy tests are a yes or no thing.  If there's a line, then it means yes.

Also, please make more than just one LONG paragraph in the future.  No carriage returns makes your post very hard to read.  TIA!

I don't remember-- are you charting your BBT?

Keep using $1 until you get a positive or your period.    There shouldn't be this much thought that goes into it.   I think you are trying to convince US that it is a line.

Good luck!

I was just clarifying to explain ppl's questions and excited about the possibility. I think that's understandable.

And no, I am not charting. Since I have only been TTC for 4 mos, I decided not to until it's been longer.

Well, based on your non-poo stomach cramps, your spitting in your toilet and the first cry of 2013 I would totally go with preggo reguardless of what the test, or the instructions of said test, say.
