Intro

Hello all, I have been a lurker for awhile but figured I should finally intro. From my (very long) siggy you can see I have been at this for over 4 years now.  Long story short- I've had 4 ERs and ony 3 ETs.  I have a balanced translocation on my 10 and 12 and "very significant" PCOS.  After my 3rd retrieval there were no balanced embies to put back.  After my 4th I ended up in the ICU due to massive internal bleeding and did an FET 3 months later which got us a BFP- but I m/c at 11weeks b/c we had skipped the PGD that time.  We have also done lots of IUIs as well as ov induction to try on our own and still no baby.  We were able to get new insurance coverage for this year (i know we are blessed with this part) because we had used up our lifetime benefits with our old insurance.  I just started BCPs last wek with hopes of doing IVF w/ICSI and PGD again early Feb and decided that it was time to reach out for more support.  I look forward to getting to know and supporting other ladies on this board! 
TTC since 9/2008- 1 year of working with OB using Clomid(unmonitored) resulted in 1 BFP and M/C at 5w6d. Switched and new OB sent me straight to RE. Diagnosed as significant PCOS as well as balanced translocation (me, 10:12) IVF w/ICSI and PGD #1 March 2010, transferred 2 blasts- BFFN, IVF wICSI and PGD #2 June/July 2010 tested and froze on Day 5- only 1 to transfer, FET- BFFN, IVF w/ICSI PGD 3.1- no balanced embies to transfer :-( emotional/physical break- switched to IUI did 6, got a BFP on #2, confirmed c/p IVF #3 w/ICSI, chose to skip PGD- ER was in October 2011- ended up with Massive internal bleeding from both ovaries, admitted to ICU for transfusions (blood and platelets)- freeze all on day 3. I made a full recovery- did FET of 4, day 3 embies (no PGD) BFP! 1 beautiful HB- last live U/S at 9w 4d, at NT discovered no HB, fetus likely stopped growing around 11 w, D&E at 12w, pathology confirmed that the fetus had imbalanced translocation. 6 cycles of trying on own with Ov Induction- 1 BFP and confirmed c/p Oct 2012 IVF #4 Feb 2013?

Laparotomy with partial oophorectomy 8/2009 to remove cysts/endo. Stopped BC 4/2010.
Multiple clomid rounds from 11/2010 to 6/2011. ~ All BFN
IUI w/clomid 7/2011. IUI w/clomid & injectables 11/2011 & 1/2012. ~ All BFN
Occasionally using acupuncture.
IVF #1:EPP 5/2012 ~ (4R, 3M, 2F w/ICSI). Both embies txfrd. ~ BFN
BCP to manage Endo from 10/2012 to 12/2012.
PAIF/SAIF always welcome!

Welcome! We are also doing IVF with PGD for a balanced translocation. we did our first cycle in Oct but had a poor response and ended up freezing two embies and are doing another cycle to get more for PGD testing.

TTC#1 since 4/11 : m/c in 9/11 & 11/11
DH dx with Balanced Translocation 5/12
10/12 IVF#1-7R, 3M, 3F- No transfer - Froze 2.
IVF#2 1/13 - 11R, 10M, 6F, no transfer
IVF#3 4/13 - 8R, 6M, 6F, 1 passed PGD and was transfered 5/2/13

Me - 35 DH - 37 SD - 10
Married 10/8/2011
Started TTC July 2011. Infertility workup July & August 2012.
DH - all clear. Me - Unicornuate Uterus discovered at HSG 8/16/12. Referred for IVF 8/28/12. Approved for IVF Warranty Program 10/2/12. Laparoscopy 11/1/12 - removed right rudamentary horn, both tubes, left ovarian cyst and endometriosis. Given all clear for pregnancy after 1/1/2013.
IVF cycle 1 starts 1/19/13!
12 eggs, 7 mature and all 7 fertilized - 2 Frosties!!
5 day SET 2/4/13 - Beta 2/13: 86 & 2/15: 186 BFP!!!!

Welcome! I'm doing IVF with PGD coming up this year, too. I hope this is your year - i look forward to supporting one another through these upcoming cycles. 
| Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | | Me: Endometriosis DH: Low Morph | | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 frozen embryos. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013. Our PGD probe will be completed in early May. Hoping for healthy embryos and an FET this summer.
