TRYING to throw a Shower ??

Hi !!  So here's my problem.  My BIL met a girl and got her prego 2 months after they started dating.  We all have welcomed her into the family with open arms and are very excited about their little angel coming into this world.  So my MIL and I offered to throw her a baby shower.  I called to try and get names and addresses for her side of the family and her friends...after a month of trying (and me already ordering invites) she refuses to let me send out invitations and set up her own event on FB.  Now keep in mind I hadnt rented the hall yet and didnt have an exact date. So she put on there that this is a "made up date".  Fine .  I let that go.  And then I rented the hall and had a date and time set and she proceeded to tell me that "this is getting really annoying that I have had to change the date and time 3 times "  So I told her if she would of just waited 3 DAYS till I could make it up to the hall she wouldnt of had to change it that many times !!!  Then I put a cute little poem on the event page telling all the ladies to please bring a book instead of a card to start a library for the little one.  Then she gets on there and tells everyone not to listen to me and to bring whatever they want!!!  She has been being rude at every corner so I'm about to say just screw it and do the shower yourself !!  How do you handle a extremely rude pregnant woman ????

Yuck. Sounds like she's having trouble adjusting to both a new family and hormones all at once. I often lose patience with my sister in law who after 4 years still tries to keep my brother and the kids distanced from his side of the family. Be as patient as you can.

No, no, no, you're doing it wrong. You're not supposed to answer MUD seriously. You're supposed to give her bad advice on purpose, or post a picture of actual mud, or make fun of her spelling and grammar. Don't play into it!

Id just tell her to throw it herself since she has so much input.A shower is a gift and she shouldn't even be involved in the throwing of the shower.She should just shut up and show up.
We met in 2002. Married to Mr. Washington since June 6,2009. Awaiting our little chocolate blessing Due May 26,2013. We will have a scheduled induction May 13,2013 It's a BOY!

Wow your patient, I woulda said well than if you don't like how I am doing things to make this process less stressful for you than maybe you should do everything by your self and don't come asking for my help. You have been nothing but rude and not even one thank you. Have fun planning this event, just tell me when the date is and oh this is how much you owe me for the hall :D
