Another roadblock and delay

I had my saline ultrasound yesterday morning and it did not go as planned. We have another roadblock in the way. I have some tissue ( may be products of conception, or something else, doctor was not sure) left in my uterus. Since I have had three "bleeds," he would like to go in under anesthesia and do a hysteroscopy. So now I have to be on birth control pills to thin my lining, and wait for a surgery date. :( Just when I thought we can move forward with my second FET. Infertility sucks monkey balls!

TTC since Sept 2009, 2 uterine septum surgeries (Jan and March 2011), 1 chemical pregnancy (4/11), 1 ectopic pregnancy (8/11), and missed m/c at 11w5d (3/12)
Failed IVF #1 (July 2012)
FET #1 October/November 2012 BFP, m/c at 5 3/7
February - operative hysteroscopy
Late April/May FET #2

We are continuously praying our take home baby...

This same thing happened to me - I think we both has m/cs around the same time.  I had my hysteroscopy about a week & a half ago & that's exactly what they found - products of conception.  The good thing about a hysteroscopy is that they get a good view of everything & can make sure you are "cleaned up" (doctor's words) before your next FET.  GL!!
My TTC Journey:
Dx: Hypothalamic amenorrhea
Progesterone to induce period w/ the goal of Clomid - never got period (September 2011). RE referral.
Femera - never responded to the meds (December 2011)
Clomid with TI - BFN (February 2012)
Injectables (Menopur) - hyperstimulated/canceled (March 2012)
Injectables #2 (Menopur) with TI- BFN (May 2012)
IVF - OHSS (transfer canceled), but 11 frozen! (June 1012)
FET - 1 transferred on 8/09/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 350.3; Beta#2: 365; Beta#3: 157. Biochemical pregnancy.
FET # 2 - 1 transferred on 11/01/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 337; Beta#2: 769. BFP!!! 1st ultrasound 11/28/12 showed heartbeat, but measuring 5 days behind. 2nd ultrasound 12/05/12 - miscarriage.
FET # 3 - 1 transferred on 1/24/13. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): BFN.
FET # 4 - 2 transferred on 3/28/13. Beta #1 (11dp5dt): 673; Beta #2: 1265. Just under 6 weeks - m/c at home. WTF appointment in late May.

What a bummer! That must have been so frustrating to hear. However, just think of it as they are cleaning you out to make your ute nice and sparkly, giving you the highest chance for a successful implantation. My dr. calls is it a facial for the uterus. Ha! GL, and I hope time moves quickly for you!

Me (33)- unexplained MH (35)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist = BFN c/p, poor quality blasts, tested sperm dna fragmentation. Results all good, yay! New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice Everyone Welcome!!!

Ugh, I'm so sorry. IF does suck monkey balls! I hope you're able to do the hysteroscopy soon so you can move onto FET #2.

That stinks, I'm sorry for the unexpected roadblock. Hopefully your lining will thin nicely and you can get scheduled ASAP. Then you will be able to get back to your plan quickly. And yes, IF sucks dinosaur elephant balls! *hug*

8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

That's too bad but at least the hysteroscopy will clean ya up. They say that with in 6 months of having a hysteroscopy our uterus is more fertile. I hope that's true!!?
