Funny story friday?

What the hell...we could all use a laugh...besides trying on our clothes and seeing how they fit now...snort.

I remember at the end of my first pregnancy, (38th week appt) my OB says "you can start eating chocolate again".  The look on my face must have been priceless...for real!?! I never got the memo to stop eating it...what did you think helped me through the 5 months of nausea i experienced?  Did you think my ass got bigger from eating veggies?

On another note, I've eaten three meals by 10 am this morning...and this isn't even the hungriest I've been...o_O

Anyone else have a story?

I'm a teacher at a high school. I had to tell my principal and the eventually the employees about this pregnancy because I've had to have teachers cover for me so I can throw up and I need to start setting up my sub for August. However, the kids don't know yet.

This morning I glanced into the caf. and saw they were serving pancake and sausage on a stick. Score.

I ate three. and drank 2 OJ's. My kids looked at me funny.

This isn't a pregnancy funny story, but, at my bachelorette party I feel on my face and knocked out my front tooth!

I am starting to get the weird dreams.  I live in a neighborhood next to an apartment complex and I go to a gym about a mile from my house.  In my dream I decided to sneak into the apartment complex fitness center instead going to my gym for a workout, and was excited it worked until I realized they were having a community breakfast and the place quickly filled up with people that lived in the complex.  I got nervous I would be called out and had to sneak out.

I also have already had a dream about having the baby, and it was painless and popped right out with almost no effort on my part.  I really liked that dream!  This is my first pregnancy, so I'm obviously worried about the unknown of giving birth.

Actually, luckily, my best friend's dad is a dentist.  She couldn't be at the party so I woke up to a text saying "Good morning beautiful, I hear you need a dentist. My dad said you can come in at 10"  It was 2 weeks before.  I had a ridiculous busted lip too, but it all turned out okay.  I don't drink really, I'm very much a light weight, so drinking, high heels, and a slippery floor got the better of me.

I am so jealous! That used to be my favorite breakfast in high school, and it sounds delicious right now.

So a couple of days go I called the manager of the Melting Pot restaurant where a friend of mine organized dinner this upcoming Fri for me and another friend for our Jan bdays. I am newly not drinking but my friends can't find out yet, I explained to the manager. I asked him if he had any non alcoholic wine cause I didn't see any on the menu. No. I asked if I paid a corkage fee, could I bring my, own bottle of non alcohol and have the bartender serve it. No. His explanation was that in the state of DE, any alcohol licensed establishment could not allow alcohol to be brought in. I explained that this was NON alcoholic wine. He followed up and said "yea, but whats the percentage alcohol? I said "zero?" He stumbled a but and still said no and instead offereed that they had non alcoholic beer. Um, I dont like beer and my friends know it. If they see me drinking a beer when they know I love wine esp in a restaurant known for wine, they will be suspicious. What percent is it? My lord!

WOW Talk about stupid! I have my step-brother's 40th bday party this Saturday and I am definitely not telling anyone in my family yet. So thankfully his party is in a lounge, I plan to order cranberry juice and 7up all night. Hopefully no one will be the wiser.

I volunteer at a parrot sanctuary every week and today I was loving on my favorite bird, Meeka. Well, she likes to be held like a baby, so I was doing that and scratching her head. Then I started crying because she started coo'ing at me and making gurgling noises, lol.

I did that!  All of a sudden a great thought came to mind!  I have Fre White Zin at home, brought a big purse, stuffed it in, Ordered a White Zin at the bar before my friends showed up.  Ran immediately to the bathroom with it, dumped it down the toilet, refilled my glass with non-alcoholic, and stuffed the empty bottle in the trash.  No one was the wiser!
