HI!! Just introducing myself

I just wanted to jump in and say hello. I am new here and getting ready to start the process of going through ivf due to several attempts to conceive with no success. Kind of scared but just want input and support on information  as I start this process. I have fsh of 12 and estradiol of 52 and according to my RE. He said that he likes to see it (estradiol) under 40. Any one else ever hear of this??? I know I had a problem with fsh but never heard of the estradiol under 40... Any ways i am also starting accupuncture and royal jelly and wheatgrass. Keeping my fingers crossed for success !! Smile

I haven't gone through IVF yet, so I can't answer your questions. But I just wanted to say welcome! I'm new here too!
TTC since December 2011 Me: 29 ovulatory disorder DH: 30 MFI - low everything
IUI #1: 11/5/12 BFN
December IUI cancelled due to cyst
IUI #2: 1/8/13 BFN
IVF in April 2013 transferred one beautiful blast on 4/13
Beta #1 4/22: BFP!! 33 Beta #2 54 Beta #3 70 Beta #4 83 Beta #5 105. Possible ectopic, MTX and M/C 5w4d

Welcome! I also don't know what your numbers mean, but I wish you well and hope your stay here is a short one!!
Me - 35 DH - 37 SD - 10
Married 10/8/2011
Started TTC July 2011. Infertility workup July & August 2012.
DH - all clear. Me - Unicornuate Uterus discovered at HSG 8/16/12. Referred for IVF 8/28/12. Approved for IVF Warranty Program 10/2/12. Laparoscopy 11/1/12 - removed right rudamentary horn, both tubes, left ovarian cyst and endometriosis. Given all clear for pregnancy after 1/1/2013.
IVF cycle 1 starts 1/19/13!
12 eggs, 7 mature and all 7 fertilized - 2 Frosties!!
5 day SET 2/4/13 - Beta 2/13: 86 & 2/15: 186 BFP!!!!
EDD: October, 23, 2013

Hi Kay, welcome to the board. I don't know much about the estrogen question, but if you think you have problems with your FSH, have you ever had your AMH drawn? This is another piece of the puzzle that might be able to give you some clues about your egg quantity and how you might respond to IVF.

Me (31) DH (35) - Finding our path to baby #1

DH: Severe MFI
12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN
8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

Are you going through your baseline checks? My estradil had to be under 40 to be considered suppressed. Is that what you're talking about? I would definitely get your AMH tested. I have fine FSH but poor AMH. They're just two pieces to the puzzle.

TTC #1 for Dh, #2 for me. HSG clear. Low AMH and endo. Multiple Clomid w/TI cycles - all BFNs. 2 IUIs with Clomid and 1 with Femara - more BFNs. IVF#1 25R, 15M, 15F. 5DT of two perfect 4AA blasts! Positive HPT at 5dp5dt. Beta #1 6dp5dt - 72. Beta #2 8dp5dt - 285. Beta #3 10dp5dt - 793. Both babies have strong beautiful heartbeats! Baby B miscarried at 7 weeks. Baby A is holding on through miscarrying her twin, sub-chorionic hematoma, and complete placenta previa. Stick, baby, stick!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcomes ...and I have not yet had my amh done yet..I am sure that is next..I have tons of scar tissue from a previous abdominal surgery so my doctor thinks ivf is most definitely necessary or the safer option other than removing it.

Yes that is exactly what I believe he was talking about. I have all the rest of my testing on the 18th so I'll find out more then. I have started my supplements so hopefully they will reduce the numbers lower than 52.
