Moms with multiples: Where do all your kids sleep?

We are looking to get a new house, but know that it will probably not happen for another year. We have a 2 bedroom and 3 is on the way!! Currently my daughters share a room, but there is no room for another crib. I plan on keeping the baby in our room in a PNP for a while, but how long can that last??

do you have a walkin closet? you could make that into a mini nursery until you find a way to make it work...

you may just have to keep baby in your room for a while...a year might be a bit much for you to handle much less for baby to always see you when they go to sleep but i'm not really sure what other options you have....

We have a 3 bedroom. My daughter and son have their own rooms and the baby will share our room until he's old enough to share with his brother.

We lived in a studio when I had my son for 9 months after he was born and he just slept in the pnp. It's not perfect but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

My sister had this problem too. Her youngest slept in the PnP in their room until they could get things worked out. It's not ideal but it could be worse.

We have #4 on the way and live in a 3 bedroom.  My older boys share a room and DD currently has the nursery.  With a new baby on the way it will just have to sleep in the master bedroom until it STTN.  It will then move in with DD.  If it's a girl she will stay there forever and if it's a boy he will move in with his brothers around age 2 or so.

We just have our 22 month old daughter and I am due in April. Our floor plan sucks in the way that there are two bedrooms on the upper floor and one in the (finished) basement. For now I'm planning to keep my 22 month old in her room upstairs and have the baby with us in our room. Our daughter stayed in our room for the first 8-9 months of her life so I am thinking the second baby probably will as well. I honestly want to keep the spare bedroom reserved for guests as long as I can hold out for. Once it's time to move them I will probably move our toddler to the basement and our baby to the upstairs room. That will be a lot of work in itself though because I will have to redo two rooms. Then I'm thinking I'll just switch the couch in the downstairs living room to a pull out couch for guests.
