~~Crystal~~ ~~BrideJackie~~McIrish~~

Hey ladies! Thanks for the information earlier this week! and I went to the Gyno like my RE told me and I swear I HATE dealing with Gyno's when it comes to IF suffAngry They just don't get it...

So as of right now they precribed me provera to get AF to finally start, which I was expecting to come on with a vengence, but did not. Then go in for an ultrasound to see if the fluid is still there. Does this seem like an ok idea? It was either that or jump right to the hystoscopy (Sp??) and I felt it was ok to take a look at a less envasive procedure. The RE office seemed ok with this, but...

Well theres not really any procedure less invasive than a hysteroscopy. But with my expierence the fluid does go away on its on you just have to wait it out. The biggest thing is finding out why its there in the first place. With me we are thinking its lack of estrogen and blood flow thus my RE is putting me on vaginal viagra to increase blood flow. My periods that I have had from Provera havent been bad at all and it usually takes about 4 days give or take before AF shows up. Im not real sure why he sent you back to the gyno though. Your ute is now his problem not the OB's, just my opinion. Where you on stims or meds when the fluid showed up or did you go in for a baseline and it was found? How long do they want you to wait before coming in for u/s?

That makes sense to me to bring on AF as that will likely alleviate the fluid. I had my baseline today and was told I had a little fluid but that this typical with AF.

I know what you mean about gyns being clueless with IF stuff. When my gym did my hysteroscopy she kept saying my polyps were not the reason I wasn't getting KU. Umm, yeah I know I am almost POF but if I ever did have a good embryo, we don't need a polyp interfering! Just take it out so there is no question. Annoying!

Well the reason for going to the OB is becuase I am dealing with an RE in a different state becuase of using DE it was a better financial deal with us being OOP. So it sucks becuase I have to try and play middle man...

Anyways. So she said to have my period and the go for the u/s when AF stops. Becuase I did not have this fluid in past u/s only the one I had recently, in which I was on estrace.....if it shows again then move to a hysteroscopy.

Ok! That makes sense and yeah...I actually like dealing with the Nurse Practioner at the office better becuase she did IVF!

Hey, sorry for the delay. sounds like a good plan. I also didn't get my period after provera which they think is related to low estrogen.  Hopefully, you will get your period after provera and the fluid will go away on the ultrasound.  I haven't had a hysteroscopy so can't tell you anything about that. I have had a saline infusion ultrasound and HSG.  Is your RE in touch with your OB?

Married June 2011

Hey Jackie! Well AF started before I could pick up my provera, which I hope is a good sign? So now it's a waiting game...but my OB did sign off that she felt fine with us moving forward, so that makes me feel better.

I think that's great that you didn't even need provera. I Glad you get to move forward. Hope the fluid is gone and stays gone. Good luck!!
