Help please!

First of all I posted this in waiting to O this am and no one responded.. which is probaly good bc now there's another problem on top of the original one.

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/41868f

This mornings post:

On CD12 I took 3, yes 3, OPK's. The first was - but as I went to put it in my chart later that day I noticed that I had a temp drop that morning and thought maybe I should test again. I did and it was very clearly +. Later that night negative again. So you see I haven't O'd and I"m wondering if I should just take that +OPK out or not. Will FF fix itself once it realizes I haven't O'd or I get another +? I know that you can have a + OPK w/o O'ing but I'm starting to think that test was a fluke bc I was neg 2 other times that day.. is that common?

So then I get home and did my OPK today and it's positive.. WTF is going on?

I don't understand what you mean by "will FF fix itself."  I would leave everything as is.  Your temps don't confirm O at all yet and probably won't even if you take out that OPK.

Andplusalso, you probably geared up to O (hence the positive) and didn't.  FF won't give you crosshairs until your TEMPS confirm O.  OPKs just help confirm it.

Sorry. What I meant was in the calendar it's showing everyday so far as my FD's. Everyday is green. I I know I havent O'd yet I believe I stated that in my OP. I get how to chart and I know what I'm looking for I just didn't know if it's normal to have more than one positive OPK that are days apart.

Yes it can be normal. Keep temping and having sex.  The green days are just the way ff lets you know you are having a "fertile" day.

Positive OPKs mean your body is producing LH and it's gearing up to O. They don't mean that you HAVE O'd or will O. FF knows what to look for, I'm not so sure that you do.

This happens.

The green days indicate your FW, which, if you're getting positive OPKs, this is likely your FW.  Once O is confirmed, that date will be outlined in yellow.

It's ok to have multiple pos OPKs in each cycle.

Just keep temping and taking OPKs until O is confirmed, and chill out.

ETA: clarification

I know that I am looking for pos OPK's and a rise in temp. And I'm well aware that FF knows what to look for.. that's why I am using it! I did not know that it is considered "normal" to have negative tests in between Positive tests.

It's possible that you didn't read the test right and it's possible that you did and that you did in fact have a negative in between.

It's impossible to know which is which.  I'm sorry.  OPK's can be really frustrating that way which is why temping is the only way I confirm ovulation.

Same thing happened to me this cycle fwiw.  One positive, one negative and one positive....

There really is no "normal" in TTC.  Sometimes you can gear up to O and then not, so maybe in this particular case your body geared up to O, didn't release the egg and is now gearing up again.  I doubt the test was faulty so I would just go with it.

I know the one on CD12 was pos. there was no doubt about it. Today's was questionable but I'm pretty sure. Like I said it's my 1st month using them. Thanks for the advice!

I SUCK at hitting the quote button! Dangit! lol
