Having A Rough Day :(

This is not baby related other than being hormonal and having to cope.

 

My grandfather passed away this morning.  It was not a shock.  I was at his bedside last night and was lucky to get a photo of his hand on my growing belly.  It's been a roller-coaster of  emotions all day.  I stayed home from work and DH stayed with me until about 1pm.  Now I'm just hiding on my couch with all my blankets and pillows.  I'm just a sad girl today :)

 RIP dear grandpa.  You taught me all I know about baking.  You will be missed greatly.

Be good to yourself. Do what you need to find some comfort (within reason, of course). Go work out. Have some comfort food. Bake something in his memory.

I'm sorry to hear that!  Have comfort in knowing you got to spend some time with him before his passing, I'm sure it meant a lot to him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace, and may God provide your family with strength and peace during this heartbreaking time. I feel for you because I recently lost my grandfather as well. It's so hard. Hugs and lots of support!

Me - 32, DH - 32. We have been TTC #2 since January 2012.
BFP on 12/3/12, EDD 8/19/13, U/S 1/17/13 showed blighted ovum, d&c 1/24/13

I'm so sorry for you loss... And I'm not sure what your beliefs are I'm not religious, but I've always believed in sharing souls. My great grandma passed away just before I was born and I think I carry some of her spirit. My grandpa died this year and my cousin had a baby boy within the month whose smile reminds me of grandpa. Maybe this was a treasured way of keeping your souls connected.
