NTTGPR: Miss America 2013

tonight is the Miss America pageant! just curious if any other of you ladies will be watching? my bff and sister have gotten together every year to watch it and try to pick the winner- it's become a fun tradition. pageants are pretty big in the south, and i am a former pageant competitor/judge (2001 CMS miss congeniality over here, y'all! LOL), so i love it. i understand that some people totally don't care, or hate pageants in general, and that's ok too :)

but if you wanna play along, my early picks are:

South Carolina, DC, Alabama, Illinois, Michigan, with Maryland as a wild card.

Hey girl! This Alabama girl is also a pageant lover! (watching not participating that is ). I'm so glad you told me its on tonight because I never know when these are coming on TV and find out the next day who won.

Also I was going to tell you, my aunt who is about 45 yrs old gets together with her girls friends every year to watch it and have a Miss America Party of one of her friends homes. They all come in dresses (as dressy as they can) fully made up with the hair and all, and they do their own pageant during the commercial breaks. I'm not sure how they judge it, but they even have to do talent and questions, etc! So fun! The pictures every year are so great!

Bahahaha no way!  I gotta root for CT since I live here...if this Denver game ever ends.  I honestly haven't watched a Miss America pageant in years but I'm kinda in the mood for it tonight!

Oh... from the intros, I think Arkansas, Utah, and New Hampshire made a great impression, too.  Glad Montana made it with America's votes... I think that will mean a lot to her and to her platform for autism no matter what happens.
