I met Tom Green a few years ago. We were driving down the road and there were a bunch of cop cars and a convertible, and he was driving it (they said he was filming a documentary I think). So we asked if we could meet him, and met him at a restaurant later that day. He was really, really boring.

 

Also, Alanis Morisette's dad was my French teacher in grade one. She came to the school one day, but I was 6 so clearly didn't care much. And it was 1992, so she wasn't all that popular yet.

I have met Chris Daughtry. It was just after I had started cashiering at CVS and he'd come in to buy office/school supplies for on the bus. He handed me his credit card, and I looked at the card, looked at him, then asked for his ID. When he handed me a NC license, I asked for his autograph haha

I met David Ortiz (Red Sox player) a month ago and he was my #1 celebrity that I wanted to meet.

ETA: I also went to an autograph signing for the Boondock Saints and have an autograph from Norman Reedus. He was super shy and hardly looked anyone in the eye as they were getting their autographs, so I guess I didn't really "meet" him. I always forget about him because he wasn't nearly as famous then (2004) as he is now!

GTKY: Have you ever met a celebrity? If so, who?  Not really.  When I worked at a bed & breakfast in upstate NY I took care of Mayor Rudy Giuliani and his huge biitch of a wife. Does that count?  It was about 2 years after 9/11 so he was still kind of a celebrity.

If not, who would you like to meet? I would love to meet Emily Blunt. No, scratch that, I want to be friends with Emily Blunt. She is totally my girl crush.  Don't you think she and John Krasinski would be fun couple friends? His family lives in the area too so it's totally feasible that I could run into them some day.

 

Edit: Forgot about the time I was on a flight from Houston to Boston and I exchanged a few comments with a really tall guy in a cowboy hat across the aisle. Turns out it was Trace Adkins. ::shrug::  I don't listen to country music.

We passed TI in the Atlanta airport. He let my DH take his pic! I had no idea it was TI until later! Not sure how my husband new... we listen to country and classic rock.

When I was like 6 I wrote Tim McGraw a letter telling him he should marry faith hill. I had just been to his concert and she made an appearance. They kissed on stage and I guess the little matchmaker inside of me just new! Lol! He wrote me back and sent an autographed pic! I know it wasn't really him but a girl can dream! Always thought that was a cool story!

I would LOVE to meet Emma Stone, Jennifer Anniston, and Ellen!

I have met Robert Redford, David Hasselhoff and Pierce Brosnan all at the Sundance Ski Resort.

He is not a celebrity, but the wackjob who kidnapped Elizabeth Smart lived behind us for about a year. We found his dog once and when he came to our house to get it it looked like he was wearing a short trenchcoat and nothing else. He was soooo creepy.

I met Matthew Mcconaughey once when he was filming in my home town. He was not cool.

I also waited on the guy who played Monk on that TV show. I think Tony Shaloub? He was very kind and left a big tip. I'm not sure he is a celebrity though. 

When I worked as a waitress on a big mountain, I waited on lots of sports stars, but I usually didn't know they were famous until other people told me.

I met Steven Tyler!! I was in Atlantic city New Jersey eating in a diner in the Taj Mahal with a group of friends. All of a sudden some man runs and jumps into our booth with us...it was STEVEN TYLER!!!! He was an awesome guy!!

I have met Travis pastrana a BMX rider. And a localish band member wayland from mushroomhead if anyone knows of them we were kinda friends.

I met Ludacris at Jock and Jills after a Hawks game. I was just trying to go to the bathroom and there was this huge crowd I was trying to get through and he said "hey girl" to me. I was like hi and kept pushing through the crowd. When I got in the bathroom two girls were jumping up and down screaming "I can't believe we met Ludacris!" I was like I knew he looked familiar, but when I went back out he was gone. :

Paul Walker.. only my favorite man crush of all time.

When Jacksonville hosted the Super Bowl I was hired as a model for Maxim's Super Bowl party.

The party was called "Maximony" and all of us models were dressed up as brides and all we had to do was mingle and have fun.. easy enough. Paul Walker was there with Katie Holmes.. boo.. anyway he accidentally bumped into me and turned to apologize and introduced himself. Holla!

I held the door for Paul McCartney one night in new york... he didn't say thank you, so now I hate him.

 At the same event I met Jake Gyllenhaal.  It was before he was big and had only done Bubble Boy and Donnie Darko.  He was so sweet and was with some friends who were making fun of him for the Bubble Boy.

 I have a fantasy of meeting Derek Jeter and pretending not to know who he is.  I plan on saying, "do you play golf or something?"

Arnold Schwarzenegger at Planet Hollywood in WDW.  Also met Doug Flutie at MGM there - we were behind him in line for the Great Movie Ride.  My dad informed us it was him after my sister and mom were commenting on his nice butt. AWKWARD because I then got his autograph.  That weekend I also got Carrie Webb's ball at the end of an LPGA tournament - she came in 2nd for that one.  I was an excited 14 YO.

 

ETA: I would like to meet Tom Hanks.

I met Dwayne Johnson/The Rock. He went to highschool with my cousin's friend and I was a fan when I was in highschool so they let me meet him when he was in town. He was kind of a douche though.

Repeat SA - low motility & morphology w/ 99% bound by antisperm antibodies
Recommendation: IVF w/ICSI

All sports related that I can think of....drew Brees a few times. If I wasn't on my iPad I'd post some of the pics.

Also Joe Girardi, gm of the Yankees now but was the catcher for the cubs at the time. DH's friend from HS is a pitcher for the padres too...so no one too exciting Haha.

My SIL is dating a local hockey player, does that count?  And my other SIL was an extra in one of the Twilight movies and Tron, does that also count?

I once sat beside Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell in Vancouver at brunch but that's as close to a celebrity as I've come.
