Temp question...

This morning I woke up to my temp alarm and was boiling hot under the covers. I temped anyway and it was 97.88 which was very high compared to everything else going on chart wise right now. So I rolled over and went back to sleep. I woke up over 3 hours later so I temped again and got 97.55 which is more inline with my chart. My question is do I use the first or second temp my guess is the first and if I do use the first when do I consider disregarding it?

Me: 26 DH: 27 Married 5/5/12 TTC#1 since 5/5/12 DH: SA 10/5/12 (had cause for concern) came back perfect! Guess it's up to me now. Anniversary

I'd leave the first temp. It might've been high because you were hot under the covers, but you're 8dpo, so really, the temp isn't that important.

Use the first temp since you took it at the correct time.  Do not discard it.  It's about a pattern over time, not any specific temp - and since you are post-O, it's not screwing with any O prediction.

I agree with this. If it was before O, I'd think about disregarding but its not so keep the first one.
