Suggestions (alternative to RnP)?

I am looking for something to use for baby during the day (when she's a newborn), when I will be downstairs the majority of the time with her.  Her crib will be upstairs and I will have her in a cradle by our bed at first, but I'm not bringing that up and down the stairs every day obviously.  I will have a swing, but for the rest of the time, the best I can come up with is a RnP.... I am not totally in love with them - they are OK but does anyone have another suggestion/alternative?  Incidentally I do really like the new RnP that is going to come out but does anyone know when that is happening?  TIA :)

We used a PNP with the bassinet thing attached (came with our PNP) for downstairs. It worked perfectly.

I am/was a HUGE fan of our RnP.  DS2 slept so awesome in that thing.  We kept the pack n play in our room with the bassinet set up and then moved the RnP around the house.  It's so awesome and portable.  The slight incline really helped with his spitting up, too.

DS1 loved his bouncy chair and would sleep in that as I moved him around the house but DS2 hated it.  You could also look for a Moses basket if you really don't like the RnP.

I had a fisher price newborn glider and loved it!!! it got so much use out of my two boys we killed the motor in it. plus it was still light enough to carry around the house. I've also heard a lot of ppl liking the fisher price newborn to toddler rocker. My kids liked an incline so I had to these type of things for during the day.

My sister has the RnP for upstairs and this PnP for downstairs with bassinet option...  Works well when she comes over to moms house and mine as well!

We loved our rock n play but a PNP with bassinet and changing station would be a good all in one solution for downstairs and they're great for travel too

I loved my rnp but also used the bouncer a fair amount too. The bouncer is easy to move around from room to room. I had two bouncers, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. I also moved the rnp up and down the stairs daily.
Diagnosed MFI- low sperm count DH given 25 mg Clomid daily to increase count DS-Born 7/27/11 So after 2 years of IF we have our little man TTC#2 Jan 2012- Benched due to cyst March- 50mg Clomid + IUI= BFN April- 50mg Clomid- Missed O May- 50mg Clomid + IUI=BFN June-50mg Clomid +Menopur+trigger+IUI=???
