So... tired

OK - with the lack of sleep, frequent potty breaks in the middle of the night, and million things on the to-do list I feel SO TIRED!!!

So now I am worrying myself... at what point am I over-doing it and when is the normal "third-trimester fatigue" supposed to kick in? Anyone else in the same boat? I'm almost 32 weeks - - is this going to get worse or better or stay the same?

I know how you feel. I think that this is the third trimester fatigue. I think that it's all brought on by everything that you have talked about. We are uncomfortable so we can sleep. Just when you do finally fall asleep baby moves and you have to pee. Then while trying to get back to sleep again your brain won't shut off because of all the things we think we need to get done before they get here.

To help with sleep I've moved to the recliner. It has helped. I really trying not doing anything that I absolutely don't have to do. Fortunately DH has does alot around the house. I work 12 hr days so when I get home and my feet and ankles are swollen I hit the recliner and relax. I think that you just have to make yourself do it. Also if I get the opportunity to just chill at home, I'm doing it. Like this morning, I should be at church with DH but instead I'm home chillin on the couch and "bumpin it."

As far as it getting worse, I don't know. I hope not!!! Hang in there, you are not alone!!!

My ability to sleep changed week to week and day to day during the 3rd tri. Some nights I'd sleep really well between bathroom breaks of course and other nights I couldn't sleep for anything.

I've also used the recliner to sleep because it allows me a different position vs always being on my hips and sides.

Sounds normal. I vacillate between being so tired I can barely keep my eyes open and short bursts of energy that allow me get some cleaning done. Not sleeping well... That keeps getting worse for me between bathroom trips and hips/pelvis being on fire.
