Honest thoughts on girl name

DH and I are trying to conceive and talking names. We both really love the name Willa. My father's name is William and both of my grandfather's names were William. We like Rose for a middle name as it was DH's grandmothers name. I think it's beautiful for a little girl as well as a grown up. I know it's different, but that's why I like it. We don't like really common names. Thoughts? (no need to be brutal if you don't love it! :) )

Started TTC Baby #1 December 2012! Married to the love of my life since December 10, 2011!

Because it has family significance I think it would work. Honestly, I don't like Willa on a girl. Sounds like you wish you had a boy so shortened it to be feminine.

I like both names but not together. Will a rose....then her last name and/ future married name. I have a friend with the last name Blume. Willa Rose Blume? Like I said, I really like both names and the family significance, but just not together.

Love the significance and the name. Willa is super sweet. Normally Rose isn't my favorite because it's seems so popular as a filler middle name, but if it's an important family name then I can get on board.
