That's been on my mind too but I haven't gotten around to it. I think I'm going to make a list first and then go from there. The pace I'm going at though, that'll probably be right before we're about to leave for the hospital....

I plan to pack mine next week at the 34 week mark. I had my son at 35 weeks and had not packed a bag at all, so this time I will be ready! In case for some reason I can't pack one, or I don't have it with me, I made a list and emailed it to my sister so she knows exactly what I want/need and can bring it to me.

I read that you should start packing at week 32. I'm at week 38 and not entirely packed. I figure I'll have time to grab a few things... Probably.

I've been thinking of packing mine, but I feel like I use a lot of things that I would want to take on a daily basis. Like my robe, toothbrush, hairbrush, etc. I guess I could pack some PJ pants, but if I'm only packing that one thing for now then really what's the point?

Mine's been packed for a couple of weeks with the essentials, clothes for me and baby. I also have our "snack bag"  packed too. I have a little bag of toiletries ready to go, and all it needs is a couple of things I use everyday, but those can be added at the last minute. It feels good to see it sitting there in my room knowing I won't have to find the things I want once labor starts.

I had to go to L&D at 35 weeks for HBP.  that's when I packed mine.  It's sitting at the bottom of my stairs right now, along with the infant carrier, all ready for LO to make her entrance.

Go ahead and pack it!!! Last weekend my husband was on me to do mine and I pit it off. Well, Monday night my water broke and I was rushing around throwing random stuff in a bag...seriously, RANDOM! I could only laugh the next day when I saw what was in there! LO arrived at 33w4d and I was discharged a couple of days later, but luckily sent my husband with a list of stuff to bring me!

I am packing this week. I put some things in there last night and have them by the door. I figure as I think of things/do some laundry this week I will put it in the bag. Honestly, I'm not sure how much I can really put in there. All the cell phone charger, camera, things as well as some of the clothing I can't really pack ahead anyway.

Same here. I picked up some snacks and a pair of sweats last week, so those are packed already. I have a list ready so that I won't have to worry about forgetting something.

I just put some things together yesterday. I have a list with the rest of the things I want to bring (toiletries, phone/charger, camera, etc), but I won't get those together until it's time to go to the hospital.

I've had mine partially packed from just after my husband leaving so that was 32 weeks I think. It's been fully packed and in the car since 36.

My little miracle.

That's basically how I feel.  A few weeks ago I had a weird night with BH contractions being weird and for an hour or so it looked like I'd need to go in and I realized how unprepared I am if it were the real thing, but in all honesty, everything that needs to go in (other than the stuff for DD#2 like her going home outfit) is stuff I use daily/frequently so that I can't really pack it until I need it.

And quite frankly, I didn't use 99% of what I packed.  We haven't taken the tour of the newly remodeled hospital yet, (same place I delivered before), but my room the first time had no shower.  I wore the hospital gown until I was allowed home.  All I got to use was my toothbrush.  So quite frankly, if I didn't have a thing, I wouldn't really need anything at all until I'm ready to go home (outfit to wear home +  LO's going home outfit) and a toothbrush (which could be bought across the street at a drugstore by anyone coming to visit me!)

So I'm not going to stress on it.  I'll make sure the things that need to be ready at home (the bassinet is set up, the new car seat installed, clothing washed for LO) are good to go by week, say, 35, and then I'll throw together a bag when I'm in labor if I get a chance.  If not, somebody buy me a toothbrush.

I'd google a list or look up the one on this website to get started, and honestly, if you forget something I'm sure you're going to have a few visitors that can either stop at your house or pick something up for you if needed.

My bag isn't something I stressed about last time and I don't think I'm going to stress about it this time either, mostly because the pants I plan on bringing, I'm still wearing on the evenings and weekends because they're sooo comfy :)

I started last week (36 weeks) but haven't quite finished yet. I need to buy some small soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles and AA batteries. A lot of things I won't pack until I'm heading out the door because I use them regularly (robe, camera, phone charger, pillow, ect) I have a list though to make it easier and less stressful when the time comes.

I've seen a lot of good lists lately posted here but most of the things I use regularly, so I plan to make a checklist (I'm a little OCD with lists) and break it out into things for me, DH, DD who will have to stay with someone and then LO and go from there. Like, I wear the nursing tanks/pj's I plan to take to the hospital now, so I can't pack those. And DD wears uniforms to school so I can't pack her stuff either. I'll make a list and that way it's at least there so I can focus on it if I go into labor, or if I'm at work and don't have time to go home and get my stuff someone can pack for me if need be. I will probably make a concerted effort to put it all together closer to 37-38 weeks though.

I have been procrastinating on this.... it would be a nice and easy thing to check off my list.... but yeah I have started it.... meaning I have a pair of pants and a shirt and a robe in there! One of these nights I will finish it....

I'll probably pack a few things around 37-38 weeks and then pack the rest when I'm in labor. Its a very very rare situation that things would happen so quickly that you wouldn't have time to pack a bag and if it was a situation where things were happening that emergently you probably would care less about having every luxury thing you were going to pack, kwim?

The biggest thing I *do* need to do is switch DD from the infant seat to her convertible seat full time and rewash the cover of the infant seat so that the new baby wont be sitting on crushed up cheerios and dried milk :-) I'll probably throw a few things in a bag and make my list to hang by the door and pack the rest when it's go time.

I have a fairly robust list saved in my evernote acct so I can access it from the web or the app on my phone/comp.  I packed stuff that I know I won't need immediately - yoga pants that will work PP but I'm not really wearing now, nursing bra, nursing tank, a lot of snacks for DH & me (we eat Paleo, so getting food at the hospital could be tough for him).  I need to get my toiletries together...  Might do that tonight.  I need to stop at the store and pick up more conditioner anyway. ;) I'm not sure I'm going to bring everything on my epic list.  I'm hoping to spend as little time as possible in the hospital (planning on low intervention vaginal birth), so I likely don't need my computer, kindle, etc.

Rebecca :)
