Insomnia

Anyone else experiecing insomnia on lupron??

I'm assuming it's the lupron anyhow, don't really care...it needs to go away...like yesterday.  I CANNOT sleep through the night, for some reason the clock strikes 3:00 a.m. and I'm wide awake like I just slept 15 hours!  I haven't felt like I'm exhausted, just a constant tiredness and need for a nap that I can't take around 3:00 p.m. It's annoying.

I have upped my reading though. Stick out tongue

I started Lupron on Thursday and I haven't been sleeping much either. Also, is it true that Lupron can react with DHEA? If so, maybe I should stop taking my Omega supplement while on Lupron...

I didn't take Lupron and I had serious insomina all through stims. I stopped stimming yesterday (for ER today. Woot!). Last night I slept so much better. I have no idea why! I go through bouts of having insomnia so I just figured it was me.

TTC #1 for Dh, #2 for me. HSG clear. Low AMH and endo. Multiple Clomid w/TI cycles - all BFNs. 2 IUIs with Clomid and 1 with Femara - more BFNs. IVF#1 25R, 15M, 15F. 5DT of two perfect 4AA blasts! Positive HPT at 5dp5dt. Beta #1 6dp5dt - 72. Beta #2 8dp5dt - 285. Beta #3 10dp5dt - 793. Both babies have strong beautiful heartbeats! Baby B miscarried at 7 weeks. Baby A is holding on through miscarrying her twin, sub-chorionic hematoma, and complete placenta previa. Stick, baby, stick!

I'm sorry you guys are experiencing this too. Mine started like 4 days into lupron.  I had it with my last cycle too (I wasn't on lupron then though, Hmmm), I don't feel like I have anxiety and I'm honestly not stressed (yet) about the cycle which makes me feel like it's the medications.

I have no idea about it interacting....off to research!Big Smile

I had insomnia until I turned the heat way way down (like to 64 degrees.) I think the problem I had with sleeping was with night sweats. Now I sleep like a log! Good luck!

2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

So, I talked to my nurse today. Insomina and headaches is completely normal. DHEA and DHA is different, so Omegas are fine with Lupron.

Now that I think about it, I did have a lot of insomnia during my last IVF cycle. I thought it was stress, bit now it looks like I have a cause. At least I know I wasn't going crazy now ;)

April- Femara 2.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN
May- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN
June- Femara 7.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN
August- Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked & Partially Blocked Tubes
Scar Tissue Removed, Left Tube Partially Open
September- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN
October- 100mg Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN
IVF # 1: Stims 11/30 ER 12/12/12! (10R, 8F, 2 Transferred, 6 Frosties!)
Beta #1- 176 c/p @ 4w4d
FET #1 February 26th
Lost 4 Frosties to Thaw, Transferred 2 = BFFN
IVF # 2 in May Stims Begin 5/10
ER 5/21
