Heartbeat boy vs girl

Has anyone else heard a slower heartbeat is most likely a boy a faster heartbeat is a girl? Wondering if there's any truth to that?

It's an old wives tale. When I was pregnant with DS his heart rate was consistently in the 170's and 180's.

Creeping around here... But I had heard that before and that it is an old wives tale.  I'm having a boy and at 11 weeks his hb was 176 at 19 weeks it was 160 and last appointment at 26 weeks it was 145.

OWT.  The baby's HB has been anywhere from 129-180.

DS had a faster HB until I was in 3rd tri when it settled down to 135-145, so no, there was no truth to it for me.
