I usually lay there for ten minutes and then I try to go pee. 

We've been trying for a while and the UTI's that I've had from not getting up and peeing right away weren't fun.   We even had to TTA one cycle because of it.  Not fun.

Get up and pee.

Pretty much straight to the bathroom. I don't want to risk a UTI or other infection because they suck a lot. Anything sperm would have been well on its way by then, anyway.

If I feel like peeing I get up and pee. If the orgasm was good enough I just pass out then and there :P

But I have never gotten an UTI so I actually get the choice.

CD3 b/w normal, HSG all clear, SA - slightly low morphology, otherwise wnl
RE consult Dec 2012, diagnosed with lean PCOS (didn't see that coming!)
medicated cycles 1 - 4 (Femara 5mg then 7.5mg), = BFN
4/2013 - started metformin, Femara 7.5mg + IUI + progesterone = BFP on 5/7/13!!! EDD 1/16/14
Beta#1 (at 13 DPIUI) 37, Beta #2 (at 15 DPIUI) 103, Ultrasound scheduled for 5/28/13

I don't get UTIs so I do whatever feels right. Usually I pass out though. If I have to pee, I pee, but its usually roll over and straight to sleep for me.

I've never had a UTI (Please, Oh Please, don't curse me!), so I'm not overly worried about what I do directly afterwards.  99% of the time I lay there for a second, more to relax for a quick second than anything, then I get up and pee.

November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis.
January 2013: Unmedicated. P4 was 8.4. Meds recommended.
February 2013: Femara 2.5 mg and TI. P4 was 8.5. Meds will be doubled next cycle.
March 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. P4 was over 11.
April 2013: Femara 5 mg and IUI#1. P4 was 11.4. Post wash over 40 million.
May 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. Vacation during FW.

Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycle #11 is a break cycle. Cycle #12 is a break cycle. (The break so nice, she did it twice!)

I almost always go pee within 5 minutes. I've had 2 UTIs in my life, one of which was a raging monster, so I'll do anything to avoid that again. I find I can get away with a few minutes of laying still though.
