New Mommy of Three

Hello, ladies.

My name is Stephanie and my husband and I are expecting triplets on February 12th. We have no other children so we are in for many, many surprises. If any of you have any advice to share with us on how to prepare or even just tips for parenting--we would LOVE to hear anything you've got. I am at 30 weeks today and we will deliver at 34 weeks--BIG relief that we've been able to hold them in thus far! I hope that I'm correct in expecting a shorter NICU stay than many other preemies. Thanks for reading--drop a line if you have anything to share with us!!

Wow! Congrats and amazing for keeping them that long! My twins came at 36 w 1 day and they were fine, no NiCU. I wish you the best and have lots of help lined up! I was just saying after getting through 6 months I would volunteer one day to help other multiple moms out bc this is tough!!! GL

Congrats and welcome. I had my trio at 35 weeks 3 days. One need zero time and came home with me. One spent 18 days in special care and the other 2 days NICU and 8 in special care. Congrats on making it to 30 weeks. My advice don't worry it the house is not clean or the dishes are not done try and relax and enjoy your babies. Happy to answer any questions have. 

PCOS DX 2003
N Born 12/13/08 34weeks 5days due to Pprom with SPD and several delays. Conceived on 100mg of Clomid after 9 cycles
BFP 8/7/10 150mg of Clomid 8/24/10 found no heartbeat & empty sac after subcronic hemotoma, Misoprostol induced MC 8/31/10 7w5d
BFP April 20, 2011 Menpuir with trigger and TI. EDD December 31, 2011.
Beta 1 13dpo 238, Beta 2. 16dpo 1091
May 12 2011 first u/s HOLY CRAP 4 sacs 3 Heartbeats have to see if Quads or Triplets. May 26 2011 Triplets confirmed ready or not.
Born 11/29/11 35 weeks 3days C-Section E 4lbs 5oz, A 5lbs 2.5oz, M 4lbs 11oz

good luck! i had my boys at 33w2d and they were perfectly healthy, just needed a little time to regulate their temp and learn to eat. they were home in under 2 weeks.

Jack, Sydney and Carynne, Annaleigh, JW, Eden...forever in our hearts.

Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
+#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
+#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13
7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats. 153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B. A and C are growing on track. A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.
Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

Congratulations!  I'll be 30wks tomorrow, so we're in the same boat.  Even though I have a 10yr old, I still don't think it's possible to prepare for 3 babies at once.  My plan is just to go with the flow.  As long as they're fed, clothed, and have clean diapers, everything will be okay, lol.
PAIFW/SAIFW
TTC since Oct 08. DH Dx w/testicular cancer March 09.
MFI due to retrograde ejaculation/azoospermia.
IVF #1.2. 6/22 start stims.
7/4 ER and Biopsy.
7/9 Transferred 2(1-4BB and 1-3BB).4 frosties.
7/15 +HPT 6dp5dt. 7/18 Beta #1: 193. 7/20 Beta #2: 415.
8/10 1st u/s - It's triplets!
10/15/12 - 16wk5d u/s showed 3 boys!

Hello! Welcome and congrats. I had my trio at 31w3d. They were all perfect, just needed some feeding and growing time in the nicu. All 3 were home with me before a month passed! Good luck to you!
