A Little Worried

Hi,

I'm kinda new here. I don't think I've "lurked" quite as long as I'm supposed to but I have a question I'm concerned about. What the hell, we're all strangers, right?

When I was in college I was so busy during finals week that I forgot I had a tampon in and I put another one in. I had to go to the clinic to get it out because I couldn't find it. That was six years ago.

Last week I put a tampon in on a lightish day, I went to change it and it was gone! I know I put it in after I got out of the shower and there was no tampon in the trash (I don't flush because we live in an old house). I reached up in there and couldn't find it. I used pads the rest of my period hoping it would come out on its own. It never did. I googled it and i'm pretty sure its impossible to get a tampon into my ute.

I did have sex after a few days ago and my DH didn't say anything. If you were me would you go to the Dr.?

HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycle #11 is a break cycle. Cycle #12 is a break cycle. (The break so nice, she did it twice!)

If you had sex with a bloody tampon in I'm sure it's a festering cesspool of nastyness up there now.  If you really can't get it out yourself then yes go to the doctor for F sake!

I told my aunt the day it happened and she said to have DH play Dr. but I still want him to put his penis in there and I don;t think he would want to after pulling a tampon out...

Unless you inserted the tampon through your cervix it would not get into your ute, no.  You still have a rogue tampon somewhere in your posterior fornix.  You need to call your MD.  

And for some reason you find it on your own, for the love of God, DO NOT smell it.

It toally can. But if you leave it there it will give a baby a nice pillow to rest their head on. That's just good parenting is what that is.

The MUD around here sucks lately
:( This sin't MUD. I know it sounds like it. Maybe my tampon just popped out when I was pooping or it's my OCD. I prob would have gotten toxic shock by now. I'm just freaking out a little. Sorry for wasting your time.

How hard were you pushing to get that log out? 

Not that hard. lol. And it was a light day. They normally only slide out on heavy days. Maybe it was a faulty applicator w/o a tampon in it. Seriously though, it can't get into my ute, right?

It toally can. But if you leave it there it will give a baby a nice pillow to rest their head on. That's just good parenting is what that is.

 

I thought pillows were a no-no? 

In the womb they are ok.
