My DD's name is not on the list (Renee).  If it was, I'd fall out of my chair because it was in the 800's on the SSA list in 2011. 

What is the source?

Not sure where this list comes from. If you want the actual data for 2011, go to http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/

The 2012 names will be released in May.

Unless you're an SSA employee leaking early data?

If its from CafeMom then its the top 200 names from their community.  It would be like if TB collected all the baby names from users that had babies in 2012.  I would think it would be close but not 100% what SSA is.  Like Natalie is #28.  In 2011 SSA its #14 I believe and it has been climbing the past whatever years so I have a hard time believing it would drop 14 spots.  Maybe a couple, but not that many.  It would influence me to use the name more if it truly was #28.

Ugh....the girls name I really want to have is in the top 10 (not because it's popular, but because it's close to my grandmother's name. And the boy name I have like is in the top 20.
