Silly Question

I'm in my 11th week of pregnancy and very excited,

I have a kind of silly  question for other moms early in their pregnancy. All my life I've been a stomach sleeper, but now even though I naturally want to sleep on my stomach it's very uncomfortable.

Have any other moms or moms to be gone through this? And do you have any advice for switching to side sleeping since my body naturally still goes to belly sleeping?

Good question!  I am a tummy sleeper as well.  I even have a special pillow to support the neck of those who sleep on their tummies.  Currently I too am finding it uncomfortable because my boobs are so sore.  I dont sleep as well when I can't sleep on my stomach....not sure what I'm gonna do.

I have that too, its frustrating cause sleeping on my back also gives me nausea terribly. I'll have to try snuggling my body pillow

I had always been a stomach sleeper before babies.  With #1 I invested in a Snoogle and loved it.  I would sleep on my side with my belly kind of down on the pillow - if that makes any sense.  I promise - it will get better!

I have been a bit of a tummy sleeper myself but I just lay kind of on my side with pillow support.

I find it very uncomfortable too, I try and tolerate for as long as I can but really when i think about it, there is no point doing it : I guess eventually over the weeks we will get used to sleeping on our sides...

I am a tummy sleeper too and I have had some luck getting a little more comfortable by bringing my "outside" knee up towards my chest and putting more weight on that leg as I sleep. It is almost as if I was still starting sleep tummy style but my propped up leg keeps some of the weight off my stomach. Hope that makes sense...

Also hope it keeps working as our bellies keeps growing.
