Girl Name Opinions

We've gone around in circles and the husband finally produced his top 5 from a giant list I put together (thank you, Nymbler). My personal pick is Lucia, which he's "ok with," but it's not his favorite. We did agree that my opinion would have a slightly greater weight, since we named the first one after him (Charlie).

Finalists:

Adele
Camille or Camilla
Emeline
Emilia
Lucia
Sophia/Sophie

Any thoughts on what goes or doesn't go with Charlie or what may just be a horrible name? I think I'm nixing Adele, completely, and I'm not sure how I feel about a possible "Charles and Camilla" sibset. Charlie and Lucia (nn Luci) I can deal with, it's not like kids are reading the Peanuts comics these days, which is his main concern. And they will most likely never attend school together due to the age gap, so I don't know how much thought to put into the sibset, anyway.

Hhhmmm good call on the Charles and Camilla, although I think Camille is very pretty. If you love Lucia I say go for it!

No to Camilla and Charles.

Nix Adele.

Sophie is pretty but very popular, although I think it pairs up with Charles.  

I like Emeline the best.

I like Lucia, but Emeline and Camille are also nice.

Sophia is nice too, but it would be way too popular for me.

Camille or Sophie sound best from your list. Lucia does too but I really don't like it compared to Lucy.

I would stay far, far away from Charles and Camilla/Camille. 

I love Lucia as well, but I really like the sound of Charles and Emmeline!

Good catch on Charles and Camilla. Definitely don't do that. I like Emilia the best then Adele then Lucia. I love the name Lucy though. These are all good names!

Sadly, I don't think I'd do Charles and Camilla, even though I love both names.  I like Camille too, and maybe you could get away with that?  I love Adele also, but if you're nixing it, then my opinion on that doesn't matter.  I am not a fan of Emeline or Emilia (never have been).  I really like Lucia...my only issue with it is the different pronunciations.

Thanks so much, everyone! I've narrowed to Lucia, Emeline, and Emilia. It will probably be a last-month decision, but at least I can mull over just those three for the next few months.
