2nd and 3rd time moms

Do you feel like this pregnancy is flying by or is it going slower than your first? My two girls keep me so busy that I don't really obsess about the baby like I did with my first. LOL

This is my 3rd, and it feels like it is going so slow. It is different for me this time around too, I am a stay at home mom and my DH has been out of town for work since the week before I got my bfp (he comes home a few days every few weeks). I try to keep myself busy.

This is my 4th and it is flying by.  Like you said, the other kids keep me so busy I hardly have time to even think about the fact that we are about to have another baby!  I do admit that 1st trimester dragged though....oh so bad.

I feel like it's going fairly slow (not unbearably so). It's very much like my first two pregnancies - finding out the gender makes it go by a little faster, but it's like I'm at a series of checkpoints now: Doctor's appointments, friend's baby shower, son's birthday, my baby shower, baby will be here!

LOL I've been counting down by milestones/checkpoints, too, mostly for our oldest daughter. "We'll have your birthday, then my birthday, then Lexi's birthday, then the Easter bunny comes, then the new baby!"

My first 2 pregnacies flew by it seemed, this time around I feel like I found I was pregnant like a year ago. Time is going SOOOO slow, I think it is because we actaully planned this one so all the months of waiting to see if it was the month added to it, plus I keep thinking if we had gotten pregnant right away I'd be holding the baby already!!

I think it's going faster this time. Like you, my time/attention is being used up by my daughter. It's good and bad. :) I think I'm not going to *feel* ready when June rolls around.

I actually feel like this pregnancy is going slower than my first. When I was preg with DS the time seemed to FLY by. This time around I feel like I have been pregnant forever!

It really depends on the week.  Some I am so distracted that I am "wow! it's thursday again!".  Others seem to drag.

Much slower this time! 1st go round It flew!! I was young and busy and always had something going on..now 6 years later my DD is in school I work all day husband is at work all day and the routine just seems to drag it out. I wake up and growl bc I am only at 18wks when I feel like the baby should have been here months ago!

This pregnancy is seriously flying by!  I cannot believe I am already 20 weeks.  Half the time I completely forget that I'm pregnant until I feel a kick or catch a glance of my belly in the mirror:)

This is my 4th.  It does seem to be going by fast.  But we've been so busy.  Moving, and remodeling the house we have moved in to.  Kids starting new schools.  Next thing I knew, I was in the second trimester.

Much faster, but we've been super busy.

Last time, 3rd tri was soooo slow - I was out of school for the summer, and mostly sat around watching A Baby Story (all 4 episodes) every day, researching cloth diapers that I never used. That time draaaaagged.

I expect it to slow down for me in 3rd tri again.

This is my third and I find it going slower. I'm ok with that though as I want to cherish it.

I do obsess about the baby less. With my first and second I couldn't wait to feel it move and sat there waiting to feel it.... I'm still excited but I honestly don't have time to analyze little feelings I feel. I used to worry over every pain or pull or twitch. Now I really just don't have time!

I'm really excited though and can't wait to do the whole thing again.

It is going by way too fast. With my first if someone would ask how far along I was and I would know down to the day, this time it seems I am shocked when each week goes by. Last time I couldn't wait for the next milestone and this time I'm wanting it to slow down.

Your girls are adorable. I feel like this one is going quickly. Its my 4th. My kids keep me busy as well. I saw on my ticker today that I have 199 days till #4 is expected. Holy crap. That's a lot of time but it's not - you know? :) It's going fast for me.

My first three are all 2 years apart. My second and third pregnancy went by sort of fast since I was busy with really little ones. My first went by slower, but still fast than this pregnancy which is my fourth. This pregnancy is crawling. My kids are older now (8,6,4) and I feel like time is moving in slow motion. By far the longest feeling pregnancy ever. Also I was younger with my other pregnancies, I don't know if it is that I am a bit older (not that much by 29 vrs 21 with my first), or that I have had four. I am so much more achey, uncomfortable, sick, and tired this time. I feel like an old granny :)

Much faster. Between work and an almost 3 yo, I don't have the time to think about it. Plus, as much as I'm looking forward to holding my baby girl, I have so much to do at work and home that I need all the time I can get.

Oh, much much faster. The m/s filled first tri seemed to drag like crazy, but even looking back now it flew. I'm about half way now and in disbelief. This baby is going to be here before I know it and I feel like I won't be anymore ready then than I am now.

This is my 3rd and it seems to be going slowly.  My 2nd flew by, but this one seems to be dragging.  It could be because I'm still a bit nauseous, or that both my girls were born in January, so I'm used to getting ready to delivery around now.  Of course, I'm sure May will be here before I know it.

I go back and forth. At first, it seemed to fly by (thankfully!) but now I feel like I've hit a wall. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that discomfort is starting to settle in already and I keep thinking, "3.5 more months to go...ugh." But I do know that time will fly by!
