When my MIL saw/felt the furniture in BBB and BRU she said no. I think part of it was the wear and tear from being in the store (it was pretty beat up) and part of it her having expensive tastes.
We went to a local baby furniture store and fell in love with two sets: one Bonavita and one Munire. We ended up going with the Bonavita as it went on clearance by the time we went in to order - we were able to get the entire collection for what we planned on spending on the crib, dresser, and hutch alone.
Our set is really, really nice. Nicer than our current bedroom furniture. When LO tires of it and we give in to getting her new furniture, we will turn it into guest room furniture.
