Infertility: What does it mean?

Hi there, my name is Kris and I'm new around here. My husband and I have been TTC for a little over a year. Found out in October I have a leftsided hydrosalpinx with no known cause. My first RE appointment was January 2nd and since then we have done several blood tests. I go back on Monday to go over things and talk about a treatment plan. Luckily, and unluckily, my doctor makes all our lab results available through a patient portal. Which means someone me had googled her labs and is now slightly in a confused tizzy.

I'm 24 years old and trying to understand the results of an OAR:
AMH 2.8
ERS 15
E2 32.3
FSH 4.62
Inhibin B 55.1
LH 1.72

I'm just anxious for Monday, I suppose, to get things explained but was hoping someone might also be able to translate. :

I'm sorry you have foud yourself here, but welcome! I don't know what your numbers mean. I also had a hydrosalpinx on my left side, but it also had clubbed ends and my right tube was mangled and unattached so they were both removed.

I hope you get the answers you are looking for and good luck!!

No idea about the hydrosalpinx, I'm sorry, but regarding the labs:

Your AMH is a hormone that gives an indication of what your ovarian reserve is. Coupled with your FSH levels, it helps the RE determine if you will respond well to medication. Your AMH looks good and your FSH seems low which is good. I'm assuming these were cycle day 3 labs? If so, your e2, aka estradiol or estrogen, looks good too. As for ERS, Inhibin B, I dont know what those are. LH, if I'm not mistaken should match up with the FSH level somewhat....if one is low so should the other so I'd say that level looks good too.

Good luck Monday!

Thanks for responding! My RE is going to do surgery in regards to the blocked tube. It hasn't been scheduled yet, I assume Monday we will talk more about it. But he will be looking at the quality of both tubes. In addition to the blocked tube, he ran blood tests.

At first I didn't realize there was TWO different units of measure/scales for the AMH test and all I saw was one, and according to the one I saw first a 2 was awful, I was pretty upset. Then later realized there was a different UOM and scale and according to that one I was fine.. So I sent a message to the nurse asking her for the UOM my test was in, waiting to hear back still. And yes, this was a day 3 blood test.
