Calf Pain

I have had calf pain for a few weeks. The doctor made me have a doppler test to make sure there isn't a blood clot (which there isn't). Anybody else have this issue? Any recommendations to make it feel better?

Is it a steady pain, or cramping?

If it's just a cramping feeling, that's normal.

If it is ever sharp, accompanied by swelling and redness - get to your Dr. or ER. That could possibly mean blood clot.

Married my BEST FRIEND on December 1, 2007. Started TTC in March 2008. Found out we were expecting our first child in October 2008 - but had a m/c in December 2008 - resulting in a d&e. Met with a RE in May 2009 and set a plan - but conceived unexpectedly on our own! Our precious little Sophia was born on February 9, 2010! Lilypie Third Birthday tickers

Muscle cramps and Charlie horses are pretty common, but most people get them later in pregnancy.  Staying hydrated, Gatorade, and bananas helped me a lot.

I had to eat a banana every day last time to avoid it. Hope it gets better!

If it's not constant, just sharp cramps, I wouldn't worry. I had it sporadically in all 3 trimesters.  Eat bananas, stay hydrated, and take a calcium supplement if you can.

I had this last week for about three days. It felt like I had had a charlie horse in the night but I didn't think I did. My calves were just sore. It went away after a while. I didn't think too much of it, I've had charlie horses/sore calves before.

If it is a cramp, eat some bananas. I hope it gets better!

I had the doppler test so I know it's not a clot thank god. It's just a constant pain (feels like a pulled muscle). I'm going to eat some bananas!!!!
