Melissa0926432: cg0112358: Melissa0926432: My doctor tried to find it at my first appoint at 9wk3day - she was reluctant to because she said it was still pretty early - she found it pretty easy (we saw it not heard it) - we found out a couple weeks after that through ultrasound that I am actually 10 days behind what we originally thought so I was really 8 weeks!
If you saw it was it done through an u/s? I've never had a doppler than used a visual display but have seen the HB on the u/s before.
It was on the doppler (the little hand held thing) - really we just saw the number (170 something) - it was the actual number not a line - we didn't actually hear it - im not sure why that was- maybe it was picking up a lot of other noise (though I guess that doesn't make sense) - it was kinda a blur lol - when she used the doppler at my last appointment at 13 weeks i definitely heard it (170 something again)
oh, okay, I see what you mean. I saw the numerical display for mine while we were listening to it. That sucks you didn't get to hear it, though :(
