Unique Name Brainstorm!

Hi Ladies! First time posting on this board, but I thought it might be a good place to start. DH and I love unique, sweet and some old fashioned names for girls. The tops on our list for girls are:

Clover, Violet, and Rose (for first names)

Our problem is with boys names! I do not want anything on the top 50 list, but so far we only have one that we've really agreed on and that's Jack, after my father. I love it because it's simple and sweet and classic, but I don't think we'll end up using it because it's so popular now. We also threw around the name River, but I am unsure because it seems a little too heady even for us, lol. We love the name Dexter (the street I grew up on), but EVERYONE says it has too strong a connection with the serial killer. haha! maybe not the best connotation...

Any suggestions??

Ha!  No, I don't think that's weird.  It would be weird if say, your doggie's name was Fido and you wanted to use that....

I have a friend who's sons are named Ari and milo. Some of the names in my list include Carson,carter, sawyer,Dean after my granpa,Nolan, Cruz, Gunner, Wesley and sage

Thanks! I know I am obsessed with Clover. We've gotten some side-eye glances but I just don't care! I feel like in 10 years it will be the new Rose or Lily.

Anyway thanks for the thoughts on Jack, I do love it. It would really mean so much to use my dad's name, I really look up to him and would like to honor him. Love Jules and Arlo! Don't think my husband will be as easy to convince on those but you never know. My cousins daughters name is Cedar so that's out. Great suggestions, thank you!
