Former lurker-first post!

Hello ladies,

 

Just wanted to thank everyone for all their help and advice over the last year, ive been lurking for awhile and this week--finally--were started our injections so Im logged in. IVF #1, here we go! I am 40 with one child already, this all started out when i was 37 and we found out we had male factor (hubby had a double varicocele) and now that thats corrected and we finally have IVF insurance were starting up. Now I guess its about my aging eggs now too! Although my RE says Im doing good "for my age." 

 Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself! Any advice welcome!

 me 40 (almost 41), DH 39

FSH: 8.6, AMH: 2.3, AFC: 15 at baseline-everything "normal"

TTC since 2009 when I was 37, secondary infertility
Male factor: double varicocele, now 3-4 yrs later, I probably have aging eggs, not diagnosed with DOR yet though.

DS: 4/29/05 

MC: 9/12/11

7/12 IUI #1 -Gonal F Pen: 75-150, BFN (only 1 measurable follicle produced)
8/12 IUI #2 -BFN Gonal F pen: 150 BFN (only 1  measurable follicle produced)
NEED A BREAK ALREADY!!!!

TTC au natural...not happening. Ugh. When will my little guy get his sibling???

1/2013: IVF #1 Antagonist Prot. BCP for 2 weeks, Gonal F 300/Menopur 150, AFC baseline 10. Currently stimming, looking ok, 10 measuable follicles btwn 8-12mm, long road ahead.

IVF #1 in progress Jan 2013: Antagonist Prot.: Gonal F 300/Menopur 150 ER: 15 follies, 12 retrieved, 10 mature, 10 fertilized...grow embies grow! 1/8/13: BFN.

DH diagnosed with Azoospermia in January 2012
Vas reconstruction surgery in April 2012; unsuccessful
IVF with ICSI February 2013; single blastocyst 5dt
First beta March 1 is 147!!!

Me (31) DH (35) - Finding our path to baby #1
Me: POF/DOR - AMH <0.16, heterozygous c677t MTHFR
DH: Severe MFI
12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN
8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

| Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | | Me: Endometriosis DH: Low Morph | | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 frozen embryos. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013. Our PGD probe will be completed in early May. Hoping for healthy embryos and an FET in July.

DX: Unexplained/MFI issues
Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid , more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal

Moving on to IVF.

Our lil' lost sparks:
5w3d loss 7/30/10 - EDD March 2011
8w loss 4/15/11 - EDD November 2011
8w3d loss 8/2/12 - EDD March 2012
4w c/p loss 10/29/12 - EDD July 2012

IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!! FET 5/31/13
