Vent I think I'm out this month

I posted yesterday that I thought I O on Monday and I was quickly told I hadn't which I've now learned from my temps is true. FF predicted I could still O yesterday. I was already so soar and humped out but thought we could get a quickie in last night to up our chances if I did in fact O last night or even today. Hubby got home and we did the deed .. An hour into it we still didn't have "lift off" so to speak. Needless to say I was done. My body couldn't take any more and I completely lost it emotionally. Hubby felt awful because this has never happened before but I assume maybe just too much BD or too much stress at work. I don't know. I am dumbfounded by it.

There is no way I could BD tonight because im so incredibly soar down there and hubby is gone this weekend leaving Friday at 6am and back late Monday. With my luck I'll O in the next 3 days and be out this month. I'm exhausted and emotional from so much anticipation for O and so much BD all at the wrong time.

I need to vent here because I am not telling friends and family we are TTGP. I am so bummed because hubby was really getting into TTGP and even laying out my OPKs and really curious about my cycle. Now he says he just feels too much pressure with trying to get me KU and too much pressure at work with the new sales goals they gave him last week. I have really tried to not talk about it unless he brings it up and I only initiate sex when I know he is in the mood.

Anyone else feel this way? Any advice for next month?

This month I have been drinking green tea every day since CD1, using pressed every time, temping, working out 3 to 4 days per week, prenatals, charting an OPKs since CD10 once to three times a day. Now I just feel like all of that was for nothing. I'm exhausted and still no O.

So you're out because you haven't O'd by now? o_O Sorry you're bummed but damn, it's seriously not that late.

TTC since October 2011.
DX with Non-IR PCOS in October 2012.
Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycle #11 is a break cycle. Cycle #12 is a break cycle. (The break so nice, she did it twice!)

Too much pressure at work? How do they know he is TTGP?

You can get into but I can see that maybe your excitement/concerns are causing him stress. Do what you have to do, but don't tell him every last little bit.

Plus, every other day is fine.

No I'm venting because I'm worried that I'll O in the next few days and Hubby will be gone and I physically cannot hump it out. Just feeling emotional and exhausted.

i dont think you're out yet! i get that you're frustrated, but dont give up so easily. there are plenty of people that O late in their cycle.

eta: i agree with the notion of EOD sex. it can help with the soreness and give you time to recharge. good luck!

You don't even know if you will O while he's gone though so there is no reason to worry yet. There isn't anything you can do about it other than keeping temping and using OPK's. I understand wanting to be pregnant right away but if you are getting all worked up about things it probably isn't going to help the situation with DH. It is a lot of pressure to expect a man to perform on command when he knows you might ovulate soon. I would ditch the OPK talk next month if this isn't your month.

Just try the every other day thing to keep yourself from getting sore...and I feel your pain about your dh being away when you think you might ovulate...My dh's work seems to keep him late every time it is "peak week" for us! It's like they know when I ovulate or something! lol

Good luck

Agree with all of this.  I found the first few cycles I got humped out because I was less sure about timing.  The more I chart and see my patterns, the better I'm getting at timing.  Keep the hope alive, maybe you won't O until early next week after YH is back and you've had a break :)

It sounds like you are really putting a lot pressure onto both you and your husband.

There is a difference between being aware of your cycle in order to use that to your advantage and being so terrified of not having the perfect timing or chart that you have an emotional breakdown.

If this isn't your month use this to reevaluate what TTC does to your lives and how you can find that balance of good chances and good emotional health.

 Good luck OP.

OH!! Work pressure separate from TTGP... sorry I misread that as work was giving him TTGP pressure. ;)

This. Cut yourself some slack OP. You've done a great job educating yourself and doing what you can, but if you're exhausted, you need to give yourself some time. Don't count yourself out, but do take care of yourself. Good luck!
