My progesterone seems to give me problems too. See history! I received so much support here when I had heavily bleeding at the beginning of my pg due to low progesterone and ladies here told me the blood work does not show the inserts since it isn't getting into your blood stream so numbers can be lower than what they really are. My issue was the heavy bleeding. After learning about my low levels and heavy bleeding, my RE started me on PIO shots instead which in under 48 hours tripled my progesterone levels. I still miscarried and still trying to get answers why, one possibility was the progesterone being so low meant it wasn't a healthy pg but when I started taken the PIO shots, it kept the inevitible from happening. My RE said I will be on PIO shots for future cycles instead of inserts. Progesterone is not a great indication on if you are or aren't pg alwaysbut if you were it indicates it being viable. I have read 15 to be viable after a positive result, 10 being min. but my RE likes 20. So if you were pg, using inserts, it could be about 4 or 5 points higher, that is what my RE told me yesterday, again my issue was the bleeding. I don't know if I helped answered your question or just babbled but that is what I was told in my situation. GL!!
