nyki06:My daughter is 22 months old and we still rock all of the time, I love it. I'm thinking I will probably just end up getting a new one for this baby so that I can still rock my first "baby" in her room.
Same with me. DS is over 2 1/2 and I still use the glider before bedtime each night.
As a FTM, I didn't really want one. I thought it would just take up space, but my mom insisted on buying me a custom glider from a local furniture shop, and it is, by the far, the most comfortable glider that I have ever sat my little ass on. DS is very attached to the glider, so trying to get it out of his room for the baby will be a challenge, if possible at all.
It wasn't always in his room though; when he was a newborn, it was in our living room because that's where I was the most with him. It didn't actually go in his room until he was 8 months old.
