HELP ME PLEASE!!

Hi ladies...

ok so i have a 6 week old and she is a great BABY however i am going through something with her.

Last Friday she got her 1 month shots and ever since then she has waken up EVERY night between 11-12 and scream for an hour NOT STOP!!

Now mind you its only when we go upstairs and go to bed-she sleeps in the room with my husband and I, all day we are usually downstairs in the living room. At first i thought it was gas from her milk but she doesnt fuss like this until night time(for that hour) Its the oddest thing. I dont know what to do! Has anyone gone through this OR is my child just crazy lol.

What can it be...can she be to hot, can it be the milk or does she just not like our bedroom!! HELP, that hour is so crazy and im concerned!!

My LO always has a rough time after shots, always throws her through a loop for a couple days, But I would guess that what you are experiencing may be related to the growth spurt they experience at this age.

Around 6 weeks, I remember my LO being really fussy, and usually it was late evening, at that point (maybe just a little earlier), we couldn't get her settled down for night sleep until at least 11 or 12. Rest assured it gets easier.

Agreed. My LO became really fussy at 6 weeks and got better over time. Do you breast feed? It could also be something in your diet. I had to cut out dairy and soy.

6 weeks is supposed to be a growth spurt time so I wouldn't think it was from the shots. Until your LO stops on her own I would just take to being awake and comforting her for that hour. For the first few months you're supposed to just comfort them when they need it and it sounds like your LO has a rough hour each night. GL.

Are you waking her up when you go to bed? Maybe its time to move her into her own room?
