DD will be Anastasia Catherine. We're toying with the nn of Anna Cate and probably won't decide until she's here and we meet her.
I think Anna Cate is super cute and sweet. She'd obviously also have the option of Anastasia and our other nn option that we like is Annie. So if she totally hates it and thinks that it's too cutesy as an adult she has those options as well.
If it were your nickname would you think it's too cutesy for an adult? Has anyone felt that way about their nickname and ditched it?
Cheekers2010:If anything, Annie is too cutesy. I like Anna Cate and she could easily go by Anna when she's older if she doesn't like to use both.
All of this. I much prefer Anna Cate to Annie. Annie is too cutesy for me.
I don't think it's too cutesy at all!! I kinda love it.
I completely agree.
I like Anna, Anna Cate and Annie - I don't think any of them are too cutesy at all.
Annie Catie would be too cutesy, IMO.
IMO I think double names always sound grown up. I should clarify double names using CLASSIC names, not Brixton Kinsley.
