Happy Friday ladies! Hopefully this post doesn't show up weird, bumping from my phone.

I'm on day 3 of BCP. Still waiting on the results of DH's CF screening. I'm bummed at how long it's taking to hear back. It's been 10 business days since his test? Feeling uneasy.

QOTD: My favorite vacation was to the Virgin Islands for our honeymoon. The beaches there are amazing!

September 2012: Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked left tube, Damaged right tube - hydrosalpinx.
February 2013: IVF #1: transferred 1 blast = BFN. 12 frosties.

 My ER has been changed to the week of the Feb 19th-23rd. I am on BCP's til Feb 3rd and start Lupron in 12 days.

1st shot of delestrogen is tonight!  Excited to get the party started!  Also a little nervous to start up IM shots.  I have only had one at that was the trigger for the ER.

QOTD: loved going to Excellence Playa Mujeres (all-inclusive in Mexico).  It was a blast.

referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response

Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal

Hey girls!  I am supposed to start stims on Monday!  We have a little bump in the road right now.  My DH has been experiencing significant pain in his testicles.  Our infertility is totally on my side.  This is soo depressing.  We are going today to see a doctor.  I just hope we can get good news so that we dont' have to post pone this cycle.  Can I just catch a break :/

QOTW:  We went to Anguilla for our Honeymoon (spent it with Nick Lachey and Vanessa Millano).  It is absolutely amazing there.  I love Europe though... there is no place like Vienna, Austria and Venice Italy!  I'm a wannabe world traveler though.  If I could I would travel the world!

Good morning!  I am on day 10 of BCP's for IVF #1.  9 days left of them and then starting Lupron 1/30 and stims 2/1!

QOTD: I have not once been to an island (love the beach though, grew up on the Jersey shore) and would LOVE to go to Turks and Caicos!

Not much here, posted just now about my lovely monitoring appointment today. All looked good anyway. We are waiting on our Cryo bank to call with our picture matching request consult so we can choose our donor.

DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test :(
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found :(
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!

Hi Ladies!

I start estrogen patches on Sunday and ganirelix monday. Sh!t's starting to get real. My husband looked at the size of the needles that came in our box (honestly, they're huge, did they mix up my needles with the ones going to the zoo for the elephants??) and he hugged me and said 'I love you so much, thank you for doing this'. :-/

QOTD: My husband and I have always wanted to go to disneyworld. He went when he was really young but doesn't remember it and I never got to go as a kid.

Took my last BCP this morning.  AF to follow shortly (I hope).  I have first u/s on the 23rd.  But I'm kind of confused.  If AF has shown up, or isn't finished do I still go in?  I started Lupron on the 14th, DH has been giving them to me, but last night I gave it to myself and it was easy peasy.  So far no side effects, except some sore boobs. 

My favourite vacation was the tail end of our honey moon.  We flew to Paris on our way back from South Africa.  It was early spring so the weather was nice, but no huge tourist crowds anywhere.  I loved it in Paris.  I'd move there without hesitation.  Beaches in South Africa are so beautiful and if you go in January, after xmas, everyone is in school/working, so they are empty.  It's wonderful.

Happy Friday, ladies! Thanks for doing today's checkin, daisey. Good luck to everyone!

I had my baseline today and everything went great. The RE nurse couldn't see my ovaries at all, which she said was fine because if there was a cyst, they would have at least seen that on the US. I have been on 10 units of lupron and tomorrow I get to start lowering to 5 units and start estradiol 2x a day. Wed I bump it to 3x a day.

On the way back from the appointment I decided to swing by an urgent care clinic and finally get my flu shot. So glad that's out of the way!

QOTD: We've been to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos twice and absolutely love it there. For dream vacation, I would love to go to Fiji or Bora Bora and stay in one of those above-the-water hut things. I love the ocean and beach vacations and this sounds like heaven.

Hello ladies, I am on day three of pills and patches and day two of viagra supp. Oh my they are pretty awful. The smurf from the estrace was better, this is straight up slime. They have to sit on the counter and warm for 2 hours before you put in it, then you have to squezze to hold it in and run back to bed before it falls out. Then it all turns to slime. Holy moly its bad. And AF is probably one of teh worst Ive ever had. My vag is still tender from all of the cryo and bx last month so no tampons here. Probably best thought to let that stuff come out instead of holding it in like a plug. I go back Wednesday for a lining check, hopefully this viagra slime concoction is working. All in a days work of making a baby....I know I complain about all the crappy parts but it will all be forgotten once I have a miracle in my arms. Then I can complain about that miracle puking on me lol, again all worth it.

QOTD: Liz took the words right out of my mouth. I have been researching FIji and Bora Bora for 2 years now. Those over the water bungalows truly look like heaven on earth. Or one of those underwater hotels would be awesome. Basically beach, sun, my husband, great seafood, some fishing and sightseeing and Im all over it.

And I just realized I didn't update.. 

So, I had a cyst at my Sono on my right ovary a few weeks ago. We were hoping the lupron would help take care of that. However, yesterday at my baseline they found that it actually grew. My nurse told me it was normal. When you start Lupron your body can go into an estrogen flare-up causing the cyst to grow. This is apparently what happened. Soo, I've now bee delayed a week. I'm still on 20 units of Lupron until next weeks baseline #2 which will be Friday. Hopefully that cyst will have shrunk, if it grew, I could be cancelled to figure out why it's growing since I'm being suppressed. But, I don't think we will run into any problems. 

As of now, ET is 2/14 and Beta day will be 2/28, (Which happens to also be my 30th b-day), if I can hold out that long, which I'm going to try and do this time.

QOTD: I think so far, my favorite place to vacation has been Anguilla. It's where we went on our Honeymoon and I loved it. We've been to so many places that are beautiful, but I don't think any where can beat Anguilla.

Hey girls!  I am supposed to start stims on Monday!  We have a little bump in the road right now.  My DH has been experiencing significant pain in his testicles.  Our infertility is totally on my side.  This is soo depressing.  We are going today to see a doctor.  I just hope we can get good news so that we dont' have to post pone this cycle.  Can I just catch a break :/

QOTW:  We went to Anguilla for our Honeymoon (spent it with Nick Lachey and Vanessa Millano).  It is absolutely amazing there.  I love Europe though... there is no place like Vienna, Austria and Venice Italy!  I'm a wannabe world traveler though.  If I could I would travel the world! 

That's where we went too! I haven't meet anyone else who has been there yet! Where did you stay? We stayed at Cap Juluca! It was beautiful! As far as we know, there was no one famous there when we went, but it was so quiet and isolated! I loved it! 

ETA: I hope everything turns out ok with YH. I hope his pain goes away and you guys can continue moving forward!

Took my last BCP this morning.  AF to follow shortly (I hope).  I have first u/s on the 23rd.  But I'm kind of confused.  If AF has shown up, or isn't finished do I still go in?  I started Lupron on the 14th, DH has been giving them to me, but last night I gave it to myself and it was easy peasy.  So far no side effects, except some sore boobs. 

My favourite vacation was the tail end of our honey moon.  We flew to Paris on our way back from South Africa.  It was early spring so the weather was nice, but no huge tourist crowds anywhere.  I loved it in Paris.  I'd move there without hesitation.  Beaches in South Africa are so beautiful and if you go in January, after xmas, everyone is in school/working, so they are empty.  It's wonderful.

I know my office has me come in for baseline even if I'm still bleeding. They tell me it's ok if I am and not to worry. If you are confused, I would just give them a quick call.

Happy Friday, ladies! Thanks for doing today's checkin, daisey. Good luck to everyone!

I had my baseline today and everything went great. The RE nurse couldn't see my ovaries at all, which she said was fine because if there was a cyst, they would have at least seen that on the US. I have been on 10 units of lupron and tomorrow I get to start lowering to 5 units and start estradiol 2x a day. Wed I bump it to 3x a day.

On the way back from the appointment I decided to swing by an urgent care clinic and finally get my flu shot. So glad that's out of the way!

QOTD: I would love to go to Fiji or Bora Bora and stay in one of those above-the-water hut things. I love the ocean and beach vacations and this sounds like heaven.

 So glad everything is looking good! I got my flu shot the other day! Also, I'd love to go to Fiji or Bora Bora as well! DH's cousins went to Fiji for their honeymoon and I was a little jealous!

Hello ladies, I am on day three of pills and patches and day two of viagra supp. Oh my they are pretty awful. The smurf from the estrace was better, this is straight up slime. They have to sit on the counter and warm for 2 hours before you put in it, then you have to squezze to hold it in and run back to bed before it falls out. Then it all turns to slime. Holy moly its bad. And AF is probably one of teh worst Ive ever had. My vag is still tender from all of the cryo and bx last month so no tampons here. Probably best thought to let that stuff come out instead of holding it in like a plug. I go back Wednesday for a lining check, hopefully this viagra slime concoction is working. All in a days work of making a baby....I know I complain about all the crappy parts but it will all be forgotten once I have a miracle in my arms. Then I can complain about that miracle puking on me lol, again all worth it.

QOTD: Liz took the words right out of my mouth. I have been researching FIji and Bora Bora for 2 years now. Those over the water bungalows truly look like heaven on earth. Or one of those underwater hotels would be awesome. Basically beach, sun, my husband, great seafood, some fishing and sightseeing and Im all over it.

Hello ladies! I have been on BCP since December 23 and begin my evening Lupron injections tonight. I have my suppression ultrasound the 23 and begin Gonal f the 27th! My ER is 2/7 and ET around 2/12. I am just excited to get this process rolling! I was very excited when they told me we find out 8 days after ET! So happy it's earlier than we thought! Good Luck to everyone in the next few weeks! 

As far as tropical vacations go, we have been all over Mexico and to the Bahamas. Each vacation was wonderful. Our honeymoon was in Cabo San Lucas and we went back for our 5th wedding anniversary. Cabo is definitely our favorite!

Still trucking along on BCP. Monday I go for Injection Class and Mock Transfer. DH has an SA on 1/23 to see if we can freeze sperm for back up. I've decided I hate BCP and I'm counting the seconds until I can be rid of it!

Um, I think Europe. There are so many places I haven't seen yet so I would go to Europe. London, Paris, Prague, back to Italy and Spain

Dx: anovulatory due to prolactinoma (1.5cmx 1.5cm in 2006)
April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary
referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)

Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147 :(, beta #3 3/4: 268 stop meds. #4: 269, #5 133, #6 72, still in beta hell. Beta 7 (3/25) 29.

No change here.  

Dream vacations are definitely cruises to the South Caribbean, cruising around Hawaii (never been but definitely a dream) and anything in Italy. 
TTC#1 - Stopped BCP in 2007.
IUI#1 and #2 in 2008 with no luck.
Break from treatments for sanity.
IUI #3 in 2011 and IUI #4 in 2012 with no luck.
Break from treatments for sanity.
Starting IVF in March for 1st cycle.
BFP! Due date 12/11/13!

Hey girls!  I am supposed to start stims on Monday!  We have a little bump in the road right now.  My DH has been experiencing significant pain in his testicles.  Our infertility is totally on my side.  This is soo depressing.  We are going today to see a doctor.  I just hope we can get good news so that we dont' have to post pone this cycle.  Can I just catch a break :/

QOTW:  We went to Anguilla for our Honeymoon (spent it with Nick Lachey and Vanessa Millano).  It is absolutely amazing there.  I love Europe though... there is no place like Vienna, Austria and Venice Italy!  I'm a wannabe world traveler though.  If I could I would travel the world! 

That's where we went too! I haven't meet anyone else who has been there yet! Where did you stay? We stayed at Cap Juluca! It was beautiful! As far as we know, there was no one famous there when we went, but it was so quiet and isolated! I loved it! 

ETA: I hope everything turns out ok with YH. I hope his pain goes away and you guys can continue moving forward! 

All this Anguilla talk makes me think of Real Housewives of Atlanta... Yes, I hate to admit it but I love all the Real Housewive shows....

Tonight is my last night on BCP, tomorrow is the last day of antibiotics. Baseline is scheduled for Jan 30th. DH had a semen analysis this morning, so I'm eager to hear back about it.

 QOTD: Best place I've been to so far would probably have to be our honeymoon to Costa Rica. But I have always wanted to go to Rome & Greece.

Still on OCPs...last pill on the 21st, 1st monitoring on the 25th to start stims. Looks like they're aiming for ER the 5th or sspice never been, but my dream vacation is to southern Spain!

Hello!  Finished 5 days of BCP...only 14 days to go!  I have my mock transfer 1/28.  We just got all of the offical paperwork signed, turned it, an back to us so I can breathe a sigh of relief.  We also got our first bill for our loan due the end of February.  The payment hurts but all worth itin the end.

QOTW: My favorite place to vacation is the beaches of OBX.  I know its nothing big and grand...but it kins of feels like my second home since I grew up going there every year.  My would love to go on a cruise or weirdly enough, an African Safari

taking my last BCP tonight yeah! go in for my baseline and start meds next Friday. I can't wait to get this started and hopefully have a great outcome by the end of Feb !

QOTD: i really, really want to go to Iceland. We almost went on our honeymoon, but switched gears at last minute due to finances. It's such an amazing place, it's definitely on our list of places to go.

Started Lupron today,1/20. Last BCP will be 1/23. Will start stims on 2/2. ER scheduled for the week of 2/11. ***'s getting real!

QOTD: My favorite vacation spot is Lake of the Ozarks, MO. We had a house there when I was a kid, and I got married there. Try to get down there once a year. It is my happy place :)

**TTC #1 since Sep 2009** Me: 31 DH: 29 (healthy, SA = normal)

DX (May 2010) = Lap #1 showed Stage I-II endometriosis. HSG normal. Tx with 6 mo Lupron (which did nothing...) Lap #2 June 2011 to remove endo, uterine fibroid, and polyp

IUI #1-#3 (July-Sep 2011): All Clomid 50 mg + unmonitored IUI = All BFN

October 2011 - April 2012: Outta $$$ (no insurance coverage) = back to tryin' on our own

May 2012 - August 2012: Mental break from trying

October 2012: New OB. Bloodwork normal aside from slightly low progesterone

November 2012: IUI #4: Letrozole 2.5 mg + Novarel trigger + monitored IUI + progesterone = BFN

IVF #1: Long Lupron Protocol,Menopur,Follistim, ER = 2/12/13 27R/26M/23F

2/17/13 Transferred 1 perfect Grade 1 blast. 17 frostbabies.

Hi Ladies, 

First I was a Snow Bunny, then a Polar Bear, now a Hopeful Heart!  Our IVF#3 keeps being  delayed, I'm praying this is the last time I'll be changing groups.  

We took a "break" over the holidays because of office and lab closures.  Turns out, I ended up with a chemical pregnancy (shocker!), and as a result, we couldn't start stims as planned :( 

So, I will be waiting it out through this cycle, hope to start stims around Valentine's Day, how romantic!!
