How long does the cold last in newbies?

My 10 week old caught my cold and has been pretty comfortable for the most part. But it's been a week and i'm still seeing snot and congestion. I know for my older DS's colds usually last a week... so i'm wondering how long it took for yours to kick it for good?

Dd had a cold/cough for 2 weeks. Thankfully she didn't seem too uncomfortable from it either.

Both of mine caught a cold the first week in January and they're still somewhat congested. The pedi even put DD on amoxicillin b/c hers turned into a sinus infection.
TTC 12/2009
