Pom help

Sorry, not a post about porn haha. I started the Pom juice thing recently, and made a quick selection of the stuff at Publix.  Halfway through, I realize it is POM (51%) Cherry (49%) juice, not 100% Pom.  Does 100% Pom exist?  Same brand (pom wonderful)?  I am going to have to look harder.  About to head to Walmart for the cheaper CB OPK, so maybe I can find it there?  TIA

There is 100% Pom. I think it is too bitter, so I usually mix it w/ half sparkling water.

Me Dx: Weak Ovulation / Total Thyroid Removal
DH Dx: Mild MFI (borderline all 3), Varicocele
TTC#1 since 5.11
Clomid 50mg + TI = Poor Response
Clomid 100mg + TI (x2) = BFNs
Clomid 100mg+IUI#1 (5.6M Post Wash & 1 Follicle) = BFN
Surprise BFP on 1/20/13 EDD: 9/25/13 It's A Girl!!

Dang it. I really read that as "porn help." I gotta say I'm kinda disappointed.

No advice on the Pom. I don't know anything about it.

Me: 31 DH: 31. TTC since Sept. 2011
B/W: good. SA: good.
November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis.
January 2013: Unmedicated. P4 was 8.4. Meds recommended.
February 2013: Femara 2.5 mg and TI. P4 was 8.5. Meds will be doubled next cycle.
March 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. P4 was over 11.
April 2013: Femara 5 mg and IUI#1. P4 was 11.4. Post wash over 40 million.
May 2013: Femara 5 mg and TI. Vacation during FW.
June 2013: Benched from meds due to thin lining.

BFP on 12/3/12, EDD 8/19/13, U/S 1/17/13 showed blighted ovum, d&c 1/24/13
BFP on 4/19/13, EDD 12/29/13, u/s 5/20/13 showed baby with heart rate of 180 bpm! Yea, baby!
u/s 6/4/13 showed a wiggly baby with a heart rate of 176!

I try to drink the pom juice but I hate the way it tastes (mixing with sparkling water does help). I have tried the cherry pom and I think its delish, so sometimes I just drink that, even though I know its only 50%. Just be careful since its a lot of sugar.

There are a few brands that make 100% Pom. juice. If you don't like the taste, try mixing it with some Sprite !

Walmart carries 100% POM juice - it's in the refrigerated section, so make sure to look there. It's super expensive though!

Thanks all.  Ended up at Target b/c Walmart was out of the CBE Dig OPK. Anyway, got the Pom there, too, and some sparkling water. Maybe I should add some flavored vodka.  j/k

Yes there's 100% Pom juice by POM Wonderful. At first I mixed it with gingerale and now I like it by itself.

If you have a Costco by you, I got 1.8L for under $10.

If you're drinking it to up your CM. I tried the POM juice and green tea as well and I have to say green tea worked wonders. I went from no CM to lots of EWCM! GL

Women drink Pom to thicken their lining, not promote fertile CM. 

OP, I tried Pom one cycle several months ago.  Following someone on this board's recommendation, I mixed it with champagne.



TTC #1 since August 2011
September 2012: Start IF testing
DH (30): SA is good
Me (30): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, and carrier for CF
October 2012: Clomid + IUI #1 w/ OB/GYN = BFN
December 2012 - March 2013: Break while finding the right RE.
April 2013: Unmedicated IUI #2 due to hostile CM = BFN
May 2013: Clomid + Trigger + IUI #3 = BFN
June 2013: Clomid + Trigger + IUI #4

Wish there was a costco near me...saw an earlier post about that.  Got it though, and like it by itself, actually.  Was drinking it for implantation, not CM. Drinking water for CM. Does Pom juice help with CM too?

No. Oops. I got confused because I've been doing th green tea and POM up until ovulation. And then the pineapple core passed ovulation.

I was shocked when I saw the price of it at Costco! Expecially since I actually like the juice. Too bad they mark it up so much everywhere else.

I must be some kind of freak. I think the pom juice tastes good, but I had a hard time finding it too. I wish we had costco around here.

This helps me too.  I tend to use sparkling water also.  I just started the Pom juice this past month and was hoping that the sparkling water wasn't diluting it. So I am glad others also are finding other ways to help with the taste.
