Fairview Hospital, Cleveland

Hello Everyone!

I am pregnant with my first and have an appointment set up at fairview hospital in Cleveland with Dr. Patterson. I will be 10 weeks at my first appt and the lady on the phone told me that the doctors office doesn't do ultrasounds, that we would have to go to a different place to get those done.  Does anyone know where we would have to go to get my ultrasounds done at?

That sounds odd...i'd think if they didn't provide them, they'd at least provide a list of options for you....If your local board doesn't help, I'd call them back and ask where people usually go. Just play the "this is my first time" card and they'll usually be helpful

If fairview part of UH or Cleveland Clinic? My MW office is part of Suma, but they don't do U/S there so they referred me to an office in Kent that does do them.

They should let you know, Fairview is a great hospital, they have one of the premier neonatal units in the country. I'm birthing at the Hollostic Birthing Center at St. John Westshore. Yay for Cleveland moms!
