Type of Gift

I know that my shower is being held at one of my hostesses sisters house. I plan on getting my friend and Mom something nice for hosting. I know that they will make sure everything is cleaned up and such, but I feel like I should get the owner of the home something too. Would it be weird if I got her say a bottle of wine she likes, but spent a little more on my mom and friend? I want everyone to feel appreciated, but my mom and friend are doing all the work. Thoughts?

I think your instinct is right on the money, a little something for the homeowner would be a very classy gesture.  Anyone who judges the thought behind a thank-you gift by what it cost is too shallow to worry about.
