What do you think of the menu???

I know this is not the correct board but I just thought I would ask you ladies what you thought. I am a bridesmaid for a friends wedding in April and we are planing the wedding shower as a brunch in another BM house. What do you think of the menu??? do you think we need a hot meal selection as well?? Its for about 25 people not that that matters

 Main Meal:

Pastries

Fruit Bowl

3 Quiche

French Toast Bake

Cold Cuts & Rolls

Pasta Salad

Salad

Drinks:

OJ

Cranberry juice

Coffee

Tea

That sounds like a pretty solid menu to me.

Sounds like it's a brunch shower?

I think that sounds yummy.  The only thing I'd suggest is some kind of pop, iced tea or lemonade for people who are more on the lunch end of the spectrum.

I would add mimosas. :-)

I had basically the same menu for my sister's BS - I'd go heavier on the quiches and less on the cold cuts, just my experience, though.

This was my first thought. 3 quiches cut into 8 pieces each is not enough for 25 people. I'd definitely add one more if not two. Besides they are wonderful reheated, it's not like they'll go bad.

That sounds delicious! I'd add iced tea or lemonade as a drink option.

You made me hungry! I agree with PP that it might be nice to offer another choice of beverage.

Sounds great!  I'd suggest adding a sweet treat at the end, like maybe cookies or cake pops or something.  Just a thought.

This is great, thank you all.. OK so add more quiche maybe just have 6 altogether, add soft drinks, ice tea and lemonade and I almost forgot dessert I think I will have cupcakes and cookies set out.

We where thinking about starting at 11am should we add an end time since its in another BM house I would hate for people to just hang around long after the party is clearly over. and if we did  add the end time what should it be starting at 11am??

Say 11-2 but expect people to be hanging around until at least 3.

Yum.... any wine for those guests who can drink wine?  Also, there is non-alcoholic wine out there.
