Silly suggestion

Anybody make a silly name suggestion without really thinking about it?

One of the first names that DH and I love is Julian. We haven't talked about middle names much, but the other day I suggested that maybe we could use DH's middle name, Andrew.

He laughed at me right away. Julian Andrew?!? That's too much like Julie Andrews!

I guess he has a point. Hehe.

Currently pregnant with my first. Estimated Due Date is November 22, 2013! 04 - Velma in the sink BabyFruit Ticker

I don't think Julian Andrew is too much like Julie Andrews.  I'd still use the name -- I love the idea of using the same middle as your husband.

I often hear people considering "Charlotte Anne" which sounds like "charlatan."  And I loved the idea of Frederick Arthur until I remembered my last name starts with a G.

I loved the idea of Maximus Richard until one of my students pointed out that the name was "big d!ck".

Jacob Edward was my number one boy name when I was pregnant with DD until a friend informed me that these were the two main characters in Twilight. I'll never forgive Stephanie Meyer for ruining my boy name!

Our last name begins with a D.  I used to love the name Daisy, until DH pointed out it wouldn't be very kind to give our daughter the nickname "double D"

For a similar reason, we had to veto "Jude" as a first name, since running together with our last name it sounded like "Jew D______."  Our son is Jewish, but we felt like maybe he should have an identity beyond that Wink

I'm so glad someone pointed this out to you!! That name has major teasing potential!
