I started my estrogen patches on Sunday and started ganilrelix yesterday. AF is not due until the 25th, but my temp dropped WAY down this morning so I'm wondering if it's coming early, or if it's just the ganirelix.

We go for our med review today at 2. Sh!t is starting to get real.

Nothing new here. Still on 20 units of Lupron. I go back in for a second baseline on Friday, hoping that the cyst has started to go away. I start acupuncture on Thursday.

Heya

Boots I know what you mean!  I stopped BCP on Friday and AF showed this morning.  I have my first U/S and bloodwork tomorrow morning and start patches on Thursday.  I looked at my calendar and if I'm responding properly to the meds I'm about 3 weeks away from the FET! 

I'm am a little concerned because I have had no side effects from the Lupron.  AF is really light, when I thought it would be exact opposite.  I hope everthing is on track. 

QOTD:  My awful boring screen name.  Ah, I chose it when I first fell pregnant in and was just signing up on the bump for some general information etc.  I didn't even know about the forums at the time. I thought it would be more of a user name than an online persona.  Of course, then my BFP quickly turned to MC and I found the forums and the rest is history.  I wish I had something more exciting/interesting than BabyVDM but there you have it.

Hi ladies, we are inching closer and closer to Feb. So exciting!

Update: My FET is delayed now by three days to be Feb 11th. My period didn't start until yesterday so they had to bump everything out a couple of days to make up for it. Stupid uterus shenanigans! :( Oh well, I'm not in charge here...clearly.  I am now on Estrace and our monitoring appointment will be on Feb 1st.

Nothing new here either. On pills, patches and viagra suppositories. The vaigra is a slimy mess and the patches have given me welps and blisters since im allergic to adhesive. I go in tomorrow for a lining check to see if the slime is doing its job, Lord I hope so.

Me:38 - TTC for 3+years - Multiple failed IUIs (w/clomid, femara,injectibles - all BFNs) IVF #1 - Jan 2012, CP -IVF#2 March 2012, CP - Went back to IUIs all summer. Multi-Cycle Egg banking for FET. Egg retrieval #1 October, 2 frosties. Retrieval#2 January 2013. 6 eggs banked - waiting to be fertilized in March, FET March! FET - cancelled because zero eggs survived thaw process. April IUI, BFP - Beta #1 - 43, Beta #2 - 78, Beta #3 dropped, another CP. May IUI with Femara.

Hello Ladies,

I hope your week is off to a good start. Can I be added to the February group? I was in the Polar Bears for egg retrieval. I should be doing a FET this month.  I just updated on the Polar Bears. I am waiting for AF to begin (hopefully this week!)  and then I'll get my protocol.  I am not on any BCPs or Lupron - which sounds like many people do before the FET.  I hope that doesn't mean I am still a whole cycle away.  I'll find out soon enough.

QOTW - Darby is my cat and 17 is my lucky number (my b-day, hubbies b-day and our anniversary are all 17!)

monitoring tomorrow. last FET cycle my estrogen was 289 at this point with a 5.5 mm lining.

i have been on vaginal viagra and red raspberry leaf, so i am hoping for at least a 6 mm lining this time. my RE wants the estrogen over 100.

fingers crossed....

I had alot happen yesterday.  I had my baseline, AF came, started stimming, and got all my hormone numbers for this cycle (which weren't the best).  I somehow lost 7 follicles from december to now.  Totally confused by that.  My Estrodial went up from 17 to 47 and FSH from 6 to 7.2.  To top it all off I have a cyst.  For some reason they let me start stims.  Don't know why, but I started last night 3 vials of Menopur and 150 Follistim.  Its weird with no third short since I'm on an antognist this go round (no lupron).  Praying/Hoping/Meditating all day till I go in for a check up on Thursday.  Goodluck to everyone!!!!  I'm rooting for us all!!!

Cool reason for a screen name! By the way, I'm obviousoy no doctor but I think your temps will be erradic when on these meds and your body won't behave as it normally would when you're not using them. I wouldn't bother temping if I were you because they won't mean much but thats just me and I don't like waking up ealy for anything if I don't have to. :) good luck!

I was really worried I'd have massive side effects from the Lupron too since I did on the diluted dose from this summer. Strangely enough, I've only had a couple of hot flashes and that's it. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Your blood work will tell your RE if things are on track. :) Good luck!

Sorry to hear about the slime, but I hope it's doing it's job and it's worth it. FX for you. And yes, I'm just ecstatic for Jawedd too!

Hello Ladies,

I hope your week is off to a good start. Can I be added to the February group? I was in the Polar Bears for egg retrieval. I should be doing a FET this month.  I just updated on the Polar Bears. I am waiting for AF to begin (hopefully this week!)  and then I'll get my protocol.  I am not on any BCPs or Lupron - which sounds like many people do before the FET.  I hope that doesn't mean I am still a whole cycle away.  I'll find out soon enough.

QOTW - Darby is my cat and 17 is my lucky number (my b-day, hubbies b-day and our anniversary are all 17!)

monitoring tomorrow. last FET cycle my estrogen was 289 at this point with a 5.5 mm lining.

i have been on vaginal viagra and red raspberry leaf, so i am hoping for at least a 6 mm lining this time. my RE wants the estrogen over 100.

fingers crossed....

QOTD: i live in illinois and i was born in 1979. 

Is Red raspberry leaf the tea or a supplement pill? Curious what it's for, I haven't heard of it for use with an FET. And PS I just love your dog.

Hi ladies! I am still just waiting for AF to start around 2/1. I just ordered all my meds and it looks like I will be doing the MDL protocol. I'm pretty nervous for my baseline eventhough I don't even know when it is! My last IVF cycle I was on BCP and long Lupron and still had a cyst thankfully my Estrogen was low so it didn't matter but this time around I'm doing no suppression at all before I start stims. Makes me nervous to think what they might see at the baseline US.

My screen name is pretty lame. I live in SC and I'm an RN. So creative I know!!

I had alot happen yesterday.  I had my baseline, AF came, started stimming, and got all my hormone numbers for this cycle (which weren't the best).  I somehow lost 7 follicles from december to now.  Totally confused by that.  My Estrodial went up from 17 to 47 and FSH from 6 to 7.2.  To top it all off I have a cyst.  For some reason they let me start stims.  Don't know why, but I started last night 3 vials of Menopur and 150 Follistim.  Its weird with no third short since I'm on an antognist this go round (no lupron).  Praying/Hoping/Meditating all day till I go in for a check up on Thursday.  Goodluck to everyone!!!!  I'm rooting for us all!!!

Wow, you've been busy! AFC can fluctuate from month to month, I would try not to worry about it too much. Lets hope the follicles you have get to work for ya. :)

FX that everything goes in the right direction and your THursday checkup is a good one!

Yesterday was my last night of OCPs and my meds should come UPS today! Friday is my first monitoring appointment and I start swimming if we get the green light on Friday. This slates me for ER 2nd week of February or so.  It's on!

And nothing exciting on my screen name...I didn't change my name when we got married, so I use my maiden name professionally, but I use my married name for other things. E is my first initial (Elizabeth) Carabeo is my married name. The 217 comes from the days of carrying a beeper (lol) and we came up with creative ways to spell things with numbers...217 is Liz upside down. It kinda stuck, lol!

Just wanted to let you know that my last IVF cycle I had a cyst too. I was told that since my estrogen level was not elevated the cyst was not estrogen dominant and would not affect how the other follies responded to stims. That may be why you were able to start stims also. Good luck to you and try not to focus too much on those numbers. It is normal for them to fluctuate month to month.

Hi there.  I just got my plan yesterday from my RE and my tentative egg retrieval is on 2/20, so that makes me a Hopeful Heart.  I'll have to add the image to my sig later - can't make it work right now. This is IVF#1 for us and I'm on week 2 of BCP right now.

QOTD:  Our original wedding date was October 4th.  As soon as I said "10-4", DH said "Lil buddy".  It just stuck even after we moved our wedding.

6/12 and 8/12 - Femara (7.5mg) + IUI = BFN :( - considered IUI#3 and 4 by RE
9/12 and 12/12 - Femara (7.5mg for 3 days) + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
After 8 unsuccessful IUIs and no explanation for IF, moving on to IVF Feb. 2013. IVF with ICSI. 10 eggs fertilized - transferred two and froze three.

Once our dog has lived his life and we decide to new one, I'd love a German Shepherd. Is he your husbands partner? I remember you saying he was a K9 cop! Cracks me up that he has a birthday hat on!

i'm using the supplement. i just read on google (i was desperate) that it can help thicken lining.

Not too much new with me, my CD13 bw came back normal and we had a phone consult for donor matching with CA Cryo last night so we have our favorite donor picked out and are ready to order some vials! Just waiting on them to email me some paperwork and once CD1 is here we will get the ball rolling!

Q: My screen name is a combo of my first name and maiden name and the 559 was the address for the house I grew up in. I wanted to change it to something more creative but couldn't figure out how!

DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test :(
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found :(
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN
moving on to DS
DIUI#1 2/18/13,50mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta 3/4/13: BFN.

We are looking at donors.  We have our counseling session Thursday.  And still debating on of we want to stick with our RE.  Oh and I closed out my IRA today

12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN
8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

We are looking at donors.  We have our counseling session Thursday.  And still debating on of we want to stick with our RE.  Oh and I closed out my IRA today 

 

QOTD:  I work as a firefighter.  Pretty much not imaginative on that one. 

Lots going on...it's crazy what we have to do for our chance at being a parent (like closing out IRAs) *hug*. I hope you find a donor that you like and can move forward.

PS: DH is a volunteer FF/EMT and is looking at going to paramedic school to move into doing it full time. He absolutely loves it. I think it's such a cool thing for a woman to do especially! You mentioned YH was a K9 cop. How did you guys meet, if you dont mind me asking?
