Encouragement

I just read a post that asked about the timing of TTC. When do people start actually saying how long they have been "trying."  Someone said that you can start when you officially get off BC and have unprotected sex.  In that case, I have been trying since September 2012.  Which is not a very long time considering others stories. However it is a lot of the 2WW's!! I am a maid of honor in a wedding in August, therefore we were "trying" but not actually doing the tracking and the entire bit yet. January was when I started the OPK's and really starting to get to know my body by writing down symptoms and CM and such. FEBRUARY (to my DH) is the month that he thinks we are officially TTC. However we both know that we were hoping for BFP every month! 

Is there any advice/encouragement for Feb!?? Let's cross our fingers for this Cycle.

#1 BFP April 9th, 2013 EDD: December 18th, 2013

Start charting your temps.  Click my ticker to take you to Fertilityfriend.com.  Temping is the only way to confirm if/when you ovulate and will take a lot of the guesswork out of what's going on with your cycle.

This! I didn't temp last cycle only did opks. So this cycle I decided to do opk and temp. So glad I did too. I had a pos. Opk on Friday but no temp shift basically my body geared up to O but didnt actually O. If I hadn't temped DH and I would have called it good Saturday. Well turns out yesterday and today I got pos. Opk again. So tempting is an excellent way to make sure your body does actually O.

By this I hope you mean you were both on board with not TTA, but your DH and you had agreed to really ramp up TTC in February? To me, your wording makes it sound like you are TTC and your DH isn't wanting to start until February. Just saying that to me this statement sounds bad.

 Anyway, I think you will always recieve a variety of answers because everyone feels differently. To me TTC always starts when you have unprotected sex, whether you are charting or not.

Sorry if the wording was off, but yes we are both on board.  Very open about this and communicate very well together! He just has "man" thoughts and I always have the cray cray women thoughts.  We are all good here. Thanks for checking up though!
